Hm, comedy anime are a bit trickier to make broad recommendations on, but Gabriel Dropout, Blend-S and When Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace to be pretty entertaining.
Warning on the last one: Not really any substantial ending out there. LN kinda just peters out into a weird ending that doesnt fit the tone of the anime at all lol

- Ascendance of the Bookworm
- Re:Creators (technically a reverse isekai, but its great)
- The Devil is a Part Timer (another reverse isekai)
With the last two being very strong reccomendations
Reverse isekai = "fantasy character is transported to the real world"
Bookworm is honestly a slow burn, but very much worth it imo
It does such a good job of worldbuilding

Season 1 is great. Unashamed isekai that decided "rather than doing something new, I'll just do the tropes of the genre really well".
10/10 sound, animation, and worldbuilding that imo more than makes up for any unoriginality in the story.
Slime Season 2 suffers from a noticeable decline in animation quality, but still has enough memorable moments to be very much enjoyed.
(Both seasons also have very high quality acting sprinkled across a few key scenes c: )

Eh, while the overall effects (and especially the sound design) were still very nice, there was a noticeable drop in frame rate/frame quality between seasons. You can tell that the animation is a lot more "jumpy" (less work being done between key frames) if you view them side-by-side.
(Beastman fight is from S2, Ant fight is from S1. Tried to find two pretty much spoiler-free fights, but spoiler'd them anyway just to be safe)
Part of what masks it a little is that S2 had the better arcs to work with lol
The bits it covered are my favorite arcs in the entire series

Honestly, Reincarnated as a Slime may have an incredibly generic premise, but it's (at least Season 1) a master-class in Sound Design and Directing (not to mention magic animation).

LN is pretty good, WN is pretty good, and the production value on the anime is absolutely insane.
But the manga updates slow as hell, and skips and rewrites entire scenes in ways that fucks up the underlying tone entirely
(Tho the artwork is pretty decent)
