There are plenty shows with good stories that marketing department spoils for some reason in teasers. So it's not indicative of the quality of the show. High quality stories will just spoil a bit, not everything like trailers usually do I think I saw in Yakuza trailers literal key story turns including parts of ending cinematic.

if this is a question about reading the licensed material vs pirated material, personally I think it doesn't matter. I try to support an author, if I enjoy their media, but you don't necessarily need to always choose licensed media sources. You can support author by buying their paperbacks or merch, if you don't agree with Crunchyroll policies or other reasons.
As for myself, I don't really like that Crunchyroll consolidates so much Japanese and anime media under itself, so I don't really support it. There are benefits to having everything under one umbrella, but I personally don't like it that way

There is almost no similarity between doing 3d animation for a game and doing cgi for a weekly anime
Not to mention games like Genshin have higher budget and significantly more time to make than an anime
And more people
The largest anime studio only has around 700 people but Hoyo has 5-6k employees
And Genshin shouldn't even be the game that you're referencing for this even if it did make sense, since games with good 3d have been on mobile since well before it and are what made it possible.
If you were trying to make a point about cgi and Anime you should've brought up Honkai Impact instead which does have very well blended 2d/3d animated shorts.
But they're shorts and only come out infrequently.
