arcturian heresy in particular is a prime example of one of the main things i like about tes lore

everything is written from the perspective of in-universe characters, there's no narrator, so you end up with a lot of information that's biased, lacking in details, or just outright contradictory with something else but you dont have any idea which one is "true"

just like real history

it makes the world feel a lot more believeable
