Tbf, the author themselves said they pretty much consider the festival arc to be the "finale" of the series iirc. Everything after that was just wrapping up stuff for all the supporting characters

So if you look at it that way, the anime's reached the "end" (at least of the main story)

Gundam: The Witch from Mercury is more or less pure mecha. There is also "Eighty-Six" and "Re:Creators" which are hybrid mecha. There is good older stuff like "Broken Blade" and "Suisei no Gargantia", "Knights of Sidonia"
These above I would say in a "Must see" category.
There are also classics like Code Geass, Evangelion, Gurren Lagann.

Darling in Franxx is very good imo. Also Aldnoah:Zero, first season is great, second season is mid. SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon are good but not to everyone's taste I would say (personally, I like them a lot)

There is also Macross Zero, which is a good entry point into Macross Series (you probably don't want to go there)

Also, I was considering suggesting "Heavy Object". It's a very unusual take on mecha. Basically, usual mecha is giant humanoid piloted robots, "Heavy Object" takes it further and makes mecha super huge (megaton machines fighting) Plot is ok, not bad, not great, but the setting and idea worth it imo.

Watched the 3rd solo leveling ep, now kinda wondering if the webnovel/webcomic when it first released/got popular was one of the catalysts why ||game terminologies were implemented to irl dungeon crawling|| manhwa adaptations in recent years

I like some of the sound designs and story bits, but power fantasies still not my type, so just gonna put this on my back burner, if I still wanna continue watching/start reading the manhwa in the future

I'll be honest, the way the manhwa ended isn't my cup of tea, it felt cheap, but I don't blame the writer/artist if they wanted to just end it by that point lmao

And it makes me wonder how the anime will handle it

If they'll go the fma/naruto route and change it (even though it isn't ongoing like those examples were when the animes were releasing) or if they'll go with the og ending but try their best to make it captivating

Like nothing against the writer, but ending it by literally just saying ||"I guess I'll just have to do it all again and save everyone this time"|| and then just ending it after that supposedly happens felt cheap
