Including how frieren's memory of that one village where ||she was going to calmly kill the demon who killed someone's kid and was convinced by Himmel to leave it alone- him not knowing what frieren learned about demons learning human language to simply hunt them down||
She has her reasons and considering both are trying to survive, she's less a maniac and more a ||"I understand why they do this, I understand that if I leave them be we WILL suffer consequences, but everyone else doesn't understand that they cannot be reasoned with because they lack the emotional complexity to do so and are utterly apathetic to what they consider their prey"||

I think the issue with that is just how shonen are paced now
Because of the magazine wanting to make instant hits and cutting more manga that don't instantly hit, you have to keep a breakneck pace in order to keep the audience seeing action

It's satire. Anyway, it's cringe but intentionally so. If you can appreciate it, its pretty funny and it has an unusual humor. The only thing to remember is that this anime never takes itself seriously, even if it appears to do so

There is quite a decent number of action packed gun violence anime out there. Not my favorite genre, so I am not in the habit of remembering titles like that.
GITS has good action. "Kite". Ergo Proxy(this one doesn't have that much gun action, but when it does I remember it being great).
Well, from the recent ones, Cyberpunk has one of the best gun fights

Gunslinger Girls was kinda close, but non of the others really scratched the "gun-fu" itch. They might have a decent gun fight or two, but they don't really focus on the mix of CQC and guns, it's all either one or the other (either plain machine gun spam or fist fighting)
Cowboy Bebop on paper should have met the criteria, but controversial take: that one bored me to death with how slow paced it is 😂 I can tell it's good quality, but it's very much not for me
Ironically enough, one scene that managed to scratch that itch decently well (despite how short it was) was the Homura & Mami fight in the Madoka Magica movie 👀

Beautifully done so far, and I love the visuals side of it (they got the original art style down perfectly), but (at least in the dub) you can definitely see a clear gap between the VAs giving it their all and the ones shoehorning it in 😂
