One piece is really good story wise but the pacing is horrible so you should either watch one pace (fixes the most basic issues) or read the manga instead

One pace cuts down the episodes by like 40% of their original length because so much of it is unnecessary filler/repeated frames to pad runtime

Currently in the one piece story there is actually an explanation for devil fruits

Newest explanation isn't even out in the anime yet just manga

I think you would enjoy it if you watched it. This or next year will probably be the best years to get into one piece as it is supposedly entering it's final saga

Hm, the focus is more on the relationship between the main girl and the isekai girl.
I'd say from what ive seen so far, it's
30% Isekai girl nerding out over magic to the MC and being chaotic af
30% Isekai girl being wholesome/sweet with and developing their relationship with the MC
25% Fantasy politics
15% Action fighting with monsters

Main fun comes from the MC's relationship with the isekai girl growing, and the isekai girl being chaotic af. Main drama being monster attacks and politicing

Honestly, first episode should give you a pretty good feel for the show

Release That Witch: Chinese civil engineer gets isekai'd into the body of a fourth prince in a medieval nation that hunts down magic users Inquisition-style. Being an engineer, he immediately sees the potential of their physics-defying antics, and proceeds to start rescuing witches and revolutionizing his country. 469 chapters out so far, some really good character arcs, and a nice overarching fantasy "fight against the end of the world" plot. Original novelization is also complete already if you can't wait for the story to finish

Above 10,000 People: Parody of cultivation-focused manhuas. Dude gets isekai'd into a world of cultivators, is excited af to finally cultivate. Gets told by the system that his gift is not cultivation, but "godlike skills". Dude's pissed he can't cultivate, starts making quick bucks off of his random skills. Ends up basically being the One Punch Man of cultivators without ever realizing just how broken he is (he has no "spiritual root" to cultivate, so he can't see the fancy magic shit they're doing that he just casually breaks through). Basically, a OPM-style series that plays out plots in similar fashion, but instead of parodying common shonen tropes, it parodies common cultivation tropes. Dude makes so many pop culture references cause CN doesn't give af about copyright lol

A Returner's Magic Should Be Special: General "regressor" story (dude meets a tragic end decades in the future, returns to shortly before calamity struck and must work to prevent tragedy from happening again). Later arcs have some issues with pacing and kinda losing track of the main story, but the initial arcs are pretty strong with some great art imo.

Personally, Release That Witch and Above 10,000 People have both been fantastic. Returner's Magic is alright, tho the regressor genre's got much stronger competition in the manhwa field (Koreans love that shit lol)

But at least to me (idk if its how websites with the tag officially define it), regressor is usually just anything with "main character goes back to some earlier time in their life".

This can be Slice of Life (ex; going back to high school years), but usually is after some grand tragedy or regret of some kind (especially with the fantasy oriented ones) 👀

I've also seen a handful that are technically regressor-isekais (going back in time to an earlier point in their life, but taking over the body of someone they knew rather than themselves). But I've only seen that combo once or twice

Usually it's the same world, same body, just time regression.

Re:Life technically wouldn't count under that definition tho, even if it in every other way is a regressor story

TL;DR: Dude's known as the "king" of romance games, claims "2d>3d", etc etc. However, when a group of runaway spirits escape hell and lock themselves in the "cracks of the hearts" of several dozen girls, one of the spirits sent to track them down tricks him into helping "heal" the those cracks to force the spirits out. Using the skills he learned from his romance games, the MC must mend the hearts before time runs out, but can he get close to them all without catching feelings himself?

Something About Us (101 chapters):
TL;DR: Technically a manwha, but this one's honestly the most realistic/down-to-earth romance plot I've read. It reminds me a lot of Horimiya, but with deeper explorations of the characters and a lot slower of a burn for the romance. What I liked most is that it doesn't have the usual "misunderstandings" tropes that so many romance stories revolve around.

Sachi's Monstrous Appetite (36 chapters):

TL;DR: Dude finds out the girl he's crushing on is an eldritch horror. Dude's fine with that, but getting the relationship to work and helping her learn what it means to be in love is a struggle. Wholesome and sweet, with an interesting story too :)

We Never Learn (187 chapters):
TL;DR: The story Quintessential Quintuplets wishes it was. Hard working MC is assigned to be the tutor of several girls struggling in their fields in exchange for a letter of endorsement to his desired college. All five girls are pretty lovable, and the best part is, the author took the time to write an additional 40 chapters after the ending to give every one of the five girls a "winning" arc, so you can cheer for any one of them and not lose :)

I'm Nearly 30, but This Is My First Love (60 chapters):
TL;DR: Wholesome, adorable fluff. Basically two adults blushing and awkwardly making their way through their first relationships together, paired with an incredible set of wingmen and wingwomen. A short read, but very wholesome fluff.

i dropped the nier one after the first ep, i think people copium'd it improving afterward but if you've played the game already there's really not much benefit to watching it

and if you haven't played the game, play instead of watching it lol

but the first ep was painful, entirely reused music with nothing new outside of an aimer op, mediocre 2d animation paired with horrible cgi that actually looked worse than them just ripping the ingame models directly

there's several characters in the game who use animations very similar to those in other games
