My philosophy personally is to value how meta the team they support is, weighing how much value they provide to said meta team.

Example: c6 Diona provides high value to Mavuika teams, making her a high value unit. Rosaria works in more comps but isn't close to BiS in any of them, unlike Diona.

How versatile a unit is often taken into account, but imo all it does is artificially increase the perceived value. Example: Xingqiu is seen as a useful 4* character that works in many teams, but hydro app aside, what meta teams does he support? How do you justify using him in your stygian teams?

That's just my opinion on the matter
