for relatively low spender (welkin and occasionally top up) that honestly discourages me from spending more because i'm not straight up whale and my mentality is "not worth spending money when character will be shit in a couple of months"

used to spend welkin in hsr right after the game launched, but after 4 months i predicted it wasn't gonna be good investment because of how bad the powercreep is so I stopped

and then when Penacony came it was so bad i just dropped the game

yes and that is the thing like if you are using keqing or ganyu you are obviously not looking for speedruns but you can still enjoy playing characters you like instead of being forced to pull for basically every new unit
