Im a lil late but the complementary colours on their coat draws too much attention to the body instead of their face.
I would use the colour u picked on the left side as her hair colour since its more saturated than others. To guide the eye to the place you want to bring the viewer to. An alternative is to make the yellow accents on their coat more greenish yellow rather than darkish gold
