Genshin draws its main inspirations from Buddhism and abrahamic religions. Samsara is the core principle of Buddhism and you basically go through multiple reincarnations until you reach the state of nirvana. In genshin’s context, reaching nirvana can mean a civilization of peace and coexistence between the humans and creatures of teyvat without the divine intervention of celestia.

This also goes in line w Gnosticism since the archons in genshin and Gnosticism represent seven rulers placed to create order in the material world.

The samsara concept was solidified in sumeru when the traveller was stuck in a dream loop for 4 times and nahida later tells us this is our fourth cycle but we’ve gotten clues to this even before sumeru like venti’s voiceline telling us we’ve met before and dainsleif telling us they’ve travelled through teyvat with our abyss sibling as were doing with Paimon (until sumeru when we stop following the same journey of our abyss sibling).

Each samsara in genshin’s context refers to each era of civilization (1st is hyperborea, natlantea, remuria and the current one) that has essentially failed and in the Fontaine world quest, the ordo attempts to prevent the prophecy from foregoing(attempting to reach nirvana)but still fails in the end.

Reaching nirvana can mean overcoming the heavenly principles (celestia) and since the tsaritsa plans to burn irminsul, who knows what will happen 👀

Considering he already encountered the traveller in sumeru I think he has predicted traveller’s moves before we even stepped into nod krai.

Tbf the traveller is extremely predictable

I do like the idea that Dottore and Columbina are working together to deceive the traveller

I feel like the Fatui harbingers’ role in Nod Krai so far has been very anti-climactic and stagnant so there’s bound to be a genshin plot twist soon

So far the traveller has played a huge role in saving every nation, they befriend all the archons and gods, traveller is EXTREMELY predictable. This could be intentional though and Nefer’s voiceline meeting traveller was the first time to disrupt this pattern

Even if they are an anomaly in teyvat which makes them by nature unpredictable I still think traveller is prone to falling for ploys. The traveller seems to willingly play through the storyline while the abyss sibling has already stepped out o it

And even as much as folks point out Arlecchino’s character being a ‘retcon’ we saw signs of the character she’d ultimately be even by the time Lazzo dropped

See: how Arle reacts towards Pulcinella and Pantalone in regards to their attitude and name dropping Signora on top of that (who actually had something of a brief history with Arle and the Hearth)

The only thing I found ‘off’ about Arle as far as ingame stuff goes is that one Inazuma world quest where “the Knave’s lackeys were taking advantage of Signora’s death to help elevate her prestige further”

a) is not something Arlechinno would do, at least with that intent
b) is weird bc Arle is also the 4th ranking Harbinger while Signora was ranked significantly lower than her, what good would that do?

Either there was some miscoordination in this bit or a huge “EN TL” moment

I don’t think Rerir manipulated Tholindis because there was no manipulating to begin with. He simply didn’t acknowledge the truth about him and so did tholindis and in a way you can say that they were both complicit in turning the other cheek Obviously disregarding the nuance. But Rerir’s flaw as a sinner was lacking the will to go against the Dogma because it benefitted him and instead of questioning the system and challenging it, in the end he simply wanted to have Tholindis pardoned as a crimson moon descendant.

Tbh Columbina’s whole storyline isn’t bad at all and theFatui harbingers itself were never meant to be the “villains” so I completely get the direction the writers went w Columbina and the Harbingers but I think what makes genshin’s storytelling so multi layered and great is how it deceives the audience and how you really have to look through all the layers of lore to uncover the “truth”. And this goes w the Fatui— seen as the force of “evil” in Teyvat yet in the grand picture they’re just fighting for their freedom. The inherent evil in Genshin is clearly the HP but the Fatui being some decoy and the story manipulating us to believe they’re the evil ones is what makes genshin super super interesting. Even early game lore like Signora’s resentment for venti, Scaramouche’s arrogance etc aren’t inherently evil, they’ve all been disregarded by the system meant to protect them.

I think Rerir going into Nefer’s memories and forcing Lauma, Jahoda and traveller to witness the similarities between them was Rerir’s way of saying how his ignorance is notout of the ordinary, that this is just the human condition yet what makes Rerir and Nefer so different is the way they approach their “ignorance”. Like I said, she was and is in great hands with chasca, it’s just that Apichu when Chasca wasn’t looking, often broke things and got into fights with children when chasca was too busy to watch her play with them ( cuz she’d watch her play with them to make sure things were fine, but she got busy so Apichu didn’t have that person to defuse the issues and kids were mean to her. )

She does mostly fight with her legs..she uses her fist and teeth but she likes to fight with her legs because her boots have spurs and are really hard at the bottom.

Definitely, she fights with her legs and uses arrows like a bow. Apichu does use guns but bows are go to and her teeth.

But they do have two sharp tusk and teeth at the front of their mouths which Apichu uses a lot to draw a lot of blood

But then she’ll be without himeko (which isn’t that bad considering I would have himeko agree to visit her and she’d ask Apichu to go back if she really misses being with her mom and friends because she almost lost her mom to a disease) if she leaves and she’s afraid if she goes back they will be mad, though she realizes later to love the people who love her.

She’d tell Chasca why she left and tell her she loved being in inazuma because aside from a run in with the law, she had a pretty good time there, even tried being a shrine maiden until she thought it was boring.
