Zzz dev go out of their way to explain how each other the characters weapons work. Genshin weapons and physics function on hope and prayer

Yixuan magic is just magnetic field manipulation

It’s just physics in the nutshell. The body has magnetic force irl. In zzz terms, simplified, she trains her body so that the ether particles within her body reacts to the ether particles. How did that happen? Cuz the characters themselves has ether within themselves naturally. When someone have high ether aptitude or they train it like yixuan case, they can make the ether within their body react extensively with the ether particles in the air. U can concentrate the ethers into a big ball of energy then boom

1 other character who can do this is Astra. Since ether reacts to sound waves, Astra sings which amplify the reaction she can make between the ether within her body and the air. So thats how she can form ether energy ball out of thin air just like Yixuan.

The 3rd and final character who can do this so far is the MCs. The ocular implant in their eyes and brain has the function just do stuff such as reversing ether corruption. Thats why in S2, MC trains under Yixuan cuz shes one other person who has expertise on how to do it the proper way so MC has fully control how that actually works. Astra case is “I’m a genius so I just wing it and it works”

Aether found Lumine hibernating, Key A is with her. They try to run away from Teyvat, but got separated by Unknown God / Asmoday. (3)
Aether wake up again, and he should have 2 Keys (B + X), and founded his Abyss Order. (4)
500 years later, Lumine fished up Paimon and they start the journey finding Aether. She meet Direidyth with a Key. Lumine think this is Aether’s Key B, since Key A is on her hand. (5)
At the end of the quest, when Lumine and Aether met each other (6):
• If Lumine give her Key A to Direidyth -> Key X at (2) was actually Key A. Lumine has no key, Direidyth has Key A, while Key B is still on Aether.
• If Lumine didn’t give her key to Direidyth -> Aether give his key to Direidyth -> Lumine still has Key A.

Does my understanding correct? If it does, my question is, where exactly in the timeline is (6)? Which key did Aether give to Direidyth? I may have missed something along the way.

Liyue: technically my least favorite with some good ideas, but went too straightforward with them. Would’ve appreciated more locals like Keqing and Ningguang being a bit more present. But I begrudgingly like it more in hindsight.

Inazuma: Good ideas but way too little time and fleshing out to execute them more meaningfully (esp with Visions, Signora’s death, and IMO Irminsul should’ve been name dropped here first). Most of what I like about Inazuma is post MSQ stuff. But the version as a whole gave me a much better impression of Inazuma compared to any other region so far.

Sumeru: Rebounded and found its proper rhythm for the first real af time. And still has hype highs that hit me personally more than anything. (Namely Scaramouche)

Fontaine: Great presentation, and the most meaningful story and character beats to date. Biggest surprise being Navia herself. But its middle acts 3-4 are sussy with how much Meropide actually wound up being relevant beyond Childe’s whereabouts. Felt like an after thought.

Natlan: only other thing I feel like I can add is flesh out the rest of the Sacred Heroes that aren’t Chasca, Mualani, and Ororon

Fontaine: My main complaints here are just a lack of Traveler agency (we don't really do anything, we're just kind of there) and 99% of the story being completely unrelated to the main plot of the game. I feel like adding some of the dragon lore or the Sinner lore (it's implied one of them did the prophecy) that we learn in Natlan here might've helped tie the whole "giving the Sovereign its power back/giving Celestia the middle finger" bit more impact. I also don't particularly like that the only main story bits we get are in the info dump at the end. We really should be learning more about broader world stuff dynamically through the story instead of a text info dump at the end.

Natlan: The gap between Natlan's premise (warrior tribes at the end of their rope against an ever growing Abyss) and the visuals/tone of 90% of it (happy hot spa chilling and breakdancing in villages without so much as a fence). This sort of visual/narrative clash is everywhere in Natlan 😔

I disagree with Traveler having a noticeable lack of “agency” in Fontaine. Hell, I’ll even argue that Fontaine’s presentation of it is actually the strongest examples of it compared to any region before or after (besides arguably Inazuma ironically enough). We see this in multiple instances how much their thoughts are their own as well as their decisions in both handling Navia’s propositions, choosing to defend Lyney & Lynette in court, and almost even attempting to sway Furina into leaking out her secret (despite it being Lyney’s plan, Traveler’s input was crucial here in making use of his special “outsider/exemption” status) etc,. Acts 3-4 were perhaps the sections of the story I felt they were most… ‘passive’ from what I recall.

I actually rather have more of an issue with how weirdly 4.x tried to integrate Sinner mythos into the overarching story in ways that didn’t feel natural enough (like how tf did Traveler just casually come to the conclusion that Vedrfolnir was responsible for the prophecy tablets found in act 5 in Bedtime Story??).

If anything I feel that Traveler’s Descender status wasn’t incorporated well enough this time around as Neuvillette just nabbed him into the Narwhal fight at a what seems moment’s notice. Especially when it was later we found out his constitution was similar to that of the gnoses by extension of the 3rd descender. Or in other words, Traveler’s ‘position’ didn’t feel particularly unique in the grander scheme of things. Part of which is kinda the intention, but at least capitalize on it for the Narwhal and Skirk encounter more for better payoff to recurring themes.
