like i agree, it's a glow up and especially with the small new details they've added to new characters like skirk and dahlia that give it that little "oomph" like dynamic shading on the face from the hair

alongside all the new little details they've put into designs like more edges and things (her bangs being cut in a lot and faded to show the eye unerneath instead of fully opaque, a lot more detailed clothing, etc)

Like arlecchino was built up to be this mega villain who destroys villages and steals children for the orphanages, raising them to be spies and warriors for the entire army that the tsaritsa is building- only for her to be released and she doesn't seem to actively do that and uses the hearth as a sanctuary and base for intelligence work than intentionally going out and burning towns to the ground and brainwashing children to be fatui soldiers like we were led to believe with the inazuma quest

Or the "they'll kill me" thing turning out to be "she actually just makes you drink a potion that makes you forget everything so your old persona is what's killed and not your physical body"

I can imagine them doing something similar with sandrone, especially if she's meant to be playable

Since even in Lazzo she was noticeably upset over it and makes her thoughts line up about her in her profile

But the Knave goons treated it as if they could yake advantage of her death to elevate the Knave’s status further

If this was the former Knave than it’d check out but it wouldn’t make any sense if she initiated her goons to do this
