not just variable, we can also add one in Component section too. the main purpose is to make the sketchware coding section clean and tidy, easy to look at. because of the color.

personally i feel using asd block is cleaner

asd block has green color. doesn't match the surrounding when we need to attach small piece of code in between other code block
sketchware has basic unique color for each categories, orange for variables, blue for views, skyblue for components, choco for file, etc. green is for operators, the filler in other code blocks such as comparements, booleans, etc. it just in the begining asd is already in sketchware.
