I think you can do that with a backpack, no? Not filter by "tag", but always pickup with a magnet upgrade.

this is a big modpack, you can't quite possibly expect that just because there is one option everyone should do it that way

after playing for a while I noticed a bunch of items can't be deleted with lava, I'm assuming that's because they're not in the "burningItems" list?
not even cactus, but I'm assuming that's because of the "disableCactusDamage": true
