While it is good mod , damn it is unbalanced - and that's why it gets
from me - I played with it, I did combos with different relics and yeah..
Unless you make them be ... literally relics, where a player gets like 1-2 per campaign and it alters their gameplay in big way - for example you have starting relic and you get additional choice after reaching nether (ch3) and end (ch6)
I think if you decrease spawn rate it incentivizes more exploration
modpack already incentivizes more exploration 
I still think you should have limited ammount of relics to choose from - like uhh, you get a choice of 1 relic for necklace, one for ring and one for gloves , from a list of choices
I personally like to stack as much as possible, but yes.
I like to build and such, but my friends only explore, and there is only so much to do
yes why I think it should be limited, because imagine it like... legendary items in some cases, that can alter your whole build
