Which modpacks, if you don't mind me asking
I'd like to look at the mod lists to see which mods I can add support for

all have mostly the same mods

I also noticed that sniffer eggs are separate? Both labeled as vanilla MC, the one with the OG texture is set to Natural Block though, I have no clue if MC team are planning to change the block itself with the new texture or not though. Didn't know MC had them separate blocks.
Trail & Tales Delight uses the sniffer egg texture for the eggshell, stuffed, and cooked but may not be something you wanna mess with.
I think you're mistaking the survival-obtainable sniffer egg with the creative sniffer spawn egg
Also, Friends & Foes, in theory, should already by supported?
the crab and turtle eggs specifically didn't seem to have the custom animal looking texture. I always thought that survival obtainables were consistent with the spawning eggs

Spawning eggs spawn adult mobs
regular eggs spawn baby ones
which then grow into the adult
ah ok. I always thought spawns did both babies and adults
They do if you right click with them on the adult mob
But the point is that those 3 eggs are supposed to be actual eggs
Spawning eggs are their own thing
Then it would probably be just the clutter eggs from the ones I found

Just to let you know in case it is relevant: Modded Omelet has been renamed to include "- Modern Spawn Eggs" in the name; everything else remains the same
Have you considered adding support for Alex's Mobs and Alex's Caves, along with Naturalist?
I can understand if you wouldnt want to do that as that's over 100 new mobs just with the those 3 mods alone
It's in their list, just will take a lot of time
I was gonna ask them to include a new texture for the spawn egg from every mob in my modpack, but that is not a one man job with how many are added to my modpack that arent supported yet
Chloe has a list a little bit up in the chat that were all added to L2's list and then some. So I'd check there first

if you do caves and creatures, i think that on may just be a lot of copying and pasting but changing colors, unless you want every mob to have a unique spawn egg

I like to make it represent the mob
if the mob is nothing but a recolor of an already existing one, the egg will also be a recolor

the mob count is just based off the version im using for each mob, a lot of those mods probably have an update that i havent installed yet\
been like 2 weeks since i last worked on this modpack
has no name currently, but ill come up with one when im done with it

I'm currently prioritizing mods based on certain criteria, such as how many mobs each has, how many modpacks I know are using them AND the resource pack, and lastly on a first come first serve basis where I also give added priority to modpacks which came in first into my list
A good amount of your mods appear to coincide with some other modpacks
while another portion seems to be only asked for by you
good way to do it, make sure you're taking breaks!

Sometimes things can be sped up if the creators already made the eggs and allow me to backport them
No I don't, but a lot of them should have a discord server

Depends
I do it on a case-by-case basis
Though same mob recolored, I tend to simply recolor the egg as well
It really depends on what the model and texture look like
Again, the Aether swets were a great example of same mob, different texture
I simply based the first one off the slime, which is basicaly what a swet is, and recolored the initial one to match the swet it represented
Alex and Naturalist's bear mostly shared an egg, though I eventually went back around to touch upon Alex's to make it better representative of the actual mob
though the shape remains the same
It really varies
Kinda like a spectrum
Often enough I tend to use vanilla's eggs as a benchmark for mobs that look similar to them
Though sometimes I cross things with the other eggs I made

Actually I just looked at this mod's page again, and it has the mobs from all the luminous mods included in it

The others are standalone, but you should just be able to copy snd paste the textures for the standalone mob mods posted on the devs profile
