theres nothing we can do about it
its an issue with the aether mod
i've reported it to @glass hamlet before but it hasnt been fixed yet
wearing gloves prevents mending from repairing items
err can you link the report? i dont recall anyone here reporting this
unless it was recent
ive been busy for a bit
@severe flower
https://github.com/The-Aether-Team/The-Aether/issues/2255 wait i found this
so i did get a report from someone but it didnt have very much for me to work with
the bug is pretty simple
with any Aether gloves equipped in the Aether slots on 1.20.1 forge
Mending will not work at all on armor/tools
it could be a mod conflict, its replicable on bmc4 forge
but i haven't tested it w/ just the aether
yeah thats all the info i got in the ticket
i couldnt reproduce it with aether only
so i dont know what the mod conflict is
hmm
so i need more info to fix the issue
but if i get more info i can try to fix it
im hopefully gonna get back to bugfixing soon after having busy with life stuff and having aether 2 work to do
and i gotta backport some stuff to the 1.20.1 version
btw related have you ever tried the 1.20.1 fabric version with bmc ive heard vaguely some modpackers have tried it out but its been too buggy but i havent been seeing many new reports to work off of
Also if you have any further issue please use the discussion&support area, this is for suggestions for the modpacks like mods, config changes, etc
and if the root of the bug is found please open an issue report for it this time
we're using it in bmc2 fabric rn
but its not a very popular modpack so not many ppl have tried it
it seemed fine when i used it though
interesting, good to know i guess
yes this
I didn't know, I'm sorry.
i already know this much i need to know the mod incompatibility
