#Minecraft crashing on launch
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
what if i want to make my own modpack tho but use prominence
like some of the mods in thepack ijsut dont want
dont redistribute or publish it as that'd break the copyright
i was just clarifying
the mods in the modpack are heavily integrated with eachother
right
you cant just remove stuff randomly
i gathered
theres no reason to remove IE, as you can just ignore its content
its optional
you dont need to do any tech
like theres other mods
like the movement one from actions and stuff
i don't like that
i preffer the justenoughanimations one
but removing a mod won't allow me to launch the game
the issue isnt that you arent allowed to remove mods, its just that a lot of mods are built heavily into the pack
you just said to avoid redistribution
i was just telling you to not redistribute or publish the pack separately
as it'd go against copyright
you're free to modify however you want for personal use
but the integrations the mods have with each other does just that
but note that a lot of stuff just cant be removed without breaking the pack
ive noticed
how am i to modify tho
very carefully lol
i can't change anything without it breaking
you can remove things one by one and see if the game crashes or not
if it doesnt crash immediately then its probably fine
the animation mod for example is probably fine to remove
how so
what do you expect me to say
theres no magic "make game work" button
the pack isnt built around being able to remove a bunch of stuff
wdym "able to get" it
download it
no you need all of the mods that are in the modpack for it to work
like it uses pufferfishes talen tree mod
wich is prominence
so im not able to use it apart
the modpack has a custom mod that modifies hundreds of things in many mods
alongside many custom datapacks
including ones that change how the skill tree works
ye it pretty just seems it puts a lock on everything really
you cant take the prominence skill tree out of prominence
without just recreating it 1:1
yes thats what happens when a pack is tailored to its users
no but, i want to play a lightweight modpack and not one with 400+ mods
custom combat, classes and talent tree
the modpack runs well on any computer
"lightweight" doesnt mean anything in modern minecraft
dunno, pcs pretty good
mod count has no correlation to performance
Please follow the performance guide to improve your game performance, as this is likely to resolve your issue.
im at as low as 40fps in a snow igloo village
follow the performance guide to improve performance
and 160-200 elsewhere
