We do have Frostiful, though. In our small server, we added Scorchful as its parallel, and reactivated passive freezing in the config. Winters are harsh and it's pretty fun.

But as it is, without config modifications, Winter doesn't serve much purpose yeah.

That seems like a major complaint, over the existence of a season. Just to then say "eternal beef exists tho" to just about every food, even as certain foods from Farmer's Delight (and its addons) have better effects than just "you can eat me infinitely with a cooldown".

Your arguments are mostly complaints about snow, Xaero's Worldmap turning ugly and somehow "we don't have this mod so no reason for winter to exist!" is... one of your arguments?

Basically, you've got nonsense.

Also, not everyone has Everlasting Beef or Eternal Steak.

Most of your complaints are complaints on the fact "this thing exists, I don't like it."

tl/dr: Make a better argument and check the packs' mods.

What's even funnier is that their argument about "just use the eternal steak" is awful because by the time you find one of them, you could have had a pretty simple setup for a self sustaining food source

I don't understand why it is so popular... it's good for filling hunger, but the cooldown makes it extremely impractical for regen and saturation

so unless you are taking another food source and having both in your hotbar, it's not worth it
