I'm in Need of help

I have real Minecraft installed, but some Friends of mine don't, so I've had to install Tlanucher, tò play with them in an aternos server, the prominence II RPG Modpack has been updated, if I install the new version Will I lose all of my progress?

And if yes how can I prevent that?

If you are using a cracked Minecraft launcher, we can not assist with your issue. In order to receive help, you need to switch to an approved launcher and provide proof you have purchased Minecraft. This is due to the terms of service and guideline agreements of both Mojang and Discord.

We don't support Aternos nor can we assist you with using it for reasons listed below;

  1. You are unable to add / edit the mods to implement a fix that can be game changing at times.
  2. We are unable to control the updates of our packs on Aternos, nor ever will.
  3. The hosting is not strong enough to host our packs on there without it crashing every so often.
  4. We have other free methods that work much better than Aternos does. Run the !ws command and the !server command in #bots for more information on how to host a server for free.

Yes I do but on aternos the world can only be either cracked or with real Minecraft

i see, well itd prob be best to instruct your friends to purchase the game & also see if staff here would remove the no support role for you if thats the case

i believe you might need to provide proof of owning the game cus the way you worded it made it seem like you didnt own the game
