Initially it was like that, using Sunfire and Harbringer, but as you're crafting ahother essence I like it as is tbh. And after all they only match in colors because thematically they're different
There's already a pure warrior artifact and that's Thunderwrath, it's the highest base attack damage weapon too (with the exception of certain weapons that increase their damage for a single hit)
As for archers, a bow artifact is coming soon, strying to work on it as much as I can but it's very time consuming and expensive, even more now considering that all artifacts will have their own upgrade tree
Very cool, but when I said melee artifact, I was more referring to more than just base damage. Harbinger and sunfire have their battle standard abilities, which give you buffs, so why not give the melee classes abilities as well? Jsut because you don’t have magic doesn’t mean h shouldn’t get to do more than jsut click
Also each artifact also scales with a a magic type, so why not give those without magic like warrior a magic less artifact
but building on this, atm the cosmic twins seem to be built for arcane mages, as they are the jack of all trades rather than focusing on one specific kind of magic. a few others also seem this way, hence saying one or two could be reworked/made into more physical based artifacts whose abilities focuse on buffing you or debuffing enemies in a certain way.
and then it could be reverted back to the harbinger sunfire crafting recipe as they are also more physical oriented weapons, no? itd follow and build upon the theme of duality and still remain physical wepaons
also doesnt thunderwrath scale with lightning spell power? warriors have 0 spell power :(
also the difference between the thunderwrath dmg and twins dmg is 16 for thunder and 11 for twins, but that 11 is doubled when wielding both at the saem time
im not tryign to argue im jsut trying to make points at why i think the twins would be a great melee focused artifact weapon
also, both have stuff that scales with magic, but id rather take the one that deals more dmg and gives me buffs even if i dont have spellpower, and twins do that when dual wielding ( i think i havent gotten that far in game yet)
Twins built for hybrid fire and arcane. Pure melee can also use just for eclipse abilities.
Fury of a thousand fists exist as an artifact mainly for pure melee
Thunderwrath ability only can scale with lightning but pure melee can use.
By can use, I also mean should use as they are also good for pure melee and not just "there"
Also, artifact creation is expensive irl, artists have to be hired

just wish i didnt have to choose between harbinger adn sunfire vs the twins, hence the suggestion to revert the crafting of the twins and make it a lil less magic focused.
it is for pure melee yea but its also jsut fist, im mainly referring to the fact that a majority of the artifacts are focused on different types of magic, and many overlap, so reworking one to be mroe melee focused couldnt hurt ot give melee players more variety

Just wait on a melee focused one
just because all artifacts have some kind of power it doesn't mean they can't be strictly used as melee, choosing a fully melee path can have cons like losing all spell power, but you also gain physical damage which in the end makes you deal more damage
Also I never said that the twins' damage is based on sunfire & harbringer's damage, they have nothing in common besides them being orange and blue, but still very off theme
Moon one looks purple to me actually, which fits arcane
theme wise i was thinking jsut duality
cuz twins are sun and moon
and sunfire/harbinger are kinda more good and evil cuz of the name of their second stages
tainted and righteous
very different gameplay & style nonetheless, just dual wielding isn't a theme
