just... mute the music?
It's on startup, also i wanna hear the music.
Either way sometimes i step away while i'm loading in.
I get the easy response of "dur just mute the music" but come on, surely i'm not the only one bothered by this. We could do the whole thing back and forth with any mod or critique of saying "just remove this" or "just mute this" but at a certain point it's just kinda a deflection from the underlying critique.
The critique being.... THAT ONE NOTE IN THE SONG IS WAY TOO FUCKING LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS
like you can hear it a distance away irl even if you can't hear the rest of the song
That would be more of a @stoic moat suggestion as it is his music
i didn't know where it'd put this suggestion, is it in the wrong channel?
right channel, Sid likely will say some info if he's up for it
okei
Mute the jukebox music in settings
they likely just don't like the sliding on the guitar, and they're probably extra annoyed by it because they specifically just don't like those types of sounds, which is fine, but I will say that I don't personally care for how the opinion on this dislike of the sound was expressed. Seems very exaggerated.
And no, I'm not rerecording it or going back and changing it, as 99% of people tend to like it quite a lot
I love it tbh, if you find it displeasing maybe check your settings? you might have some weird equalizer which makes it sound loud and bad, but I honestly don’t have issues with it, sounds amazing
Also possible yeah, if you have an equalizer in your volume settings where the higher frequencies (10K hertz or greater) are pumping rather high, then sounds such as this will start to become very piercing, in which a more balanced approach will be necessary on that.
Just turn music volume to 0
It'd be jukebox specifically but yeah
since 2.8.5 it's on music
as it should
Gotcha, I knew it was on jukebox for a long time, even coniferous forest by orangery was on jukebox in prom 1 XD
yeah lmao
It's not the sound specifically, it's the volume of that sound in contrast with all the rest of the notes of the song. Sorta like if someone was speaking in a mic, and any time they said an "th" sound or word, their volume spiked dramatically, before lowering back down for all other sounds/words if that makes sense. If the volume of it was proportional, i wouldn't mind.
How would i do that
is there a setting that could be making that specific note louder than all others?
Also sorry sideralis for the exaggeration, i typed the suggestion when i was frustrated
