i'm attempting to put together a modpack right but i'm trying to make it so that certain factions of the mod, more rather very tiny but meaningful fractions of the modpack is locked away from other factions, i'm putting together a skill tree that will unlock certain items and things for the people who join the factions and go too there respective skill trees.

i already got a good portion of the skill tree done and the parts where people will learn them, but the thing is idk how to actually get the items into stages and locked away

i figured i could do something along the lines of this,

there are three factions so make three stages, 1, 2, & 3, if you go faction 1 it would trigger a command that unlocks stage 1 and all it's items, but locks stage 2 and 3.

should a skill reset be placed it would send you back to stage 0, then you pick faction 2 and then you get locked out of stage 1 and 3 etc

idk how it would remotely work but i'm wanting to make sure it does, as exploring every single part of this modpack would turn you into a immortal being beyond death and neigh unkillable, locking these things away from eachother is highly important so everyone does not have access to everything.

bare in mind i know limiting access too certain things would make shit a bit more difficult but bare in mind, i'm limiting access to the following, the meka suit along with a few meka weapons from mekanism, a solar god armor from solar craft, a mod that makes you a sun god, and silent gear, along with mahou tsukai.

dread steel is up for grabs for everybody however, and that ignores meka suit armor protection and will just outright damage you no matter what

you're much better off using datapacks and mod
