you have to be at the location in order to save it down

tbf you could just place down waystones anywhere and use a warpstone

just found this
i hate that it charges so fast and without any input
its fine if you for example go out a few thousand blocks so you can return home, drop off loot, restock and go back out
however it removes the need to build any infrastructure at all
you can essentially just teleport anywhere you have stuff to do because by the time you are done the pad is recharged ready to go home instantly
even the elytra while being op requires "fuel" and has durability
