#Performatic for Forge - Vast difference between Forge and Fabric
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Keep in mind that there is a vast difference between Forge and Fabric with respect to performance.
Fabric modloader is lighter compared to Forge.
Example in 1.19.2 install only BYG or Regions Unexplored and run the game with low, medium and high graphics.
You will see that there is a difference in:
- Run the game.
- Creating a world or entering one.
- FPS, GPU usage, CPU in general.
Another example I can give you is to try, for example
Boosted FPS (Fabric and Forge) modpacks that have Rubidium/Sodium etc.
You will see that there is a substantial difference
A final example is the LPS modpacks.
Better MC, Medieval MC for Fabric load faster and perform better on your PC and server than it would on Forge.
Please read #faq to see the modpack diferences.
That’s a good point thank you for all the examples! I will say fabric has typically been a leaner experience with better performance.
But, I would still love a forge version just for people like me who wanna use forge mods sometime. Ya, it wouldn’t perform as well, but it’d be rlly useful having a stable performance pack from experts like lunapixel
