copper is a regular ore in minecraft.....not a combo of bronze and tin
modpack devs also can't simply change how mods work to such an extent
bruh are you a dummy head?
Bronze is the combination of Copper and Tin anyways
So basically not all the resources are necessarily integrated/cross compatible with each other so for example .) Quark Marble is useable in the construction of Stone tools, Greek Fantasy Marble is not useable in the construction of Stone Tools
Also having Copper level tools since there's copper level to most of the weapons and shields currently implemented
I was also suggesting that since there is a large abundance of copper and there also seems to be Bronze in the game that creating Tin Ore to find and making Bronze tools/weapons more accessible. Which is why i went sort of into talking about making Cross-Integration/Compatibility between resources, especially if you're gunna have mods like Quark and Greek Fantasy together which they both add Marble and i believe Limestone but only the Quark Limestone is useable in tool recipes so then like what else is limited by these interactions even tho they're technically the same resource but not the same "block"
ex.) I have a shit ton of Marble but it's Greek Fantasy Marble so it's not useable for Stone Tool crafting but if there wasn't Greek Fantasy it'd probably be Quark Marble and then for ex too is that the Quark Marble might not be able to make the stuff that Greek Fantasy uses for Marble and vice versa
So now you're going around hunting down a specific "Marble" from a specific mod even tho it's all "Marble". This particular example is just perfect and can be applied to any other type of block or tool connection
another ex.) is i have like 500 Copper and have only seen like 5 Iron ore (doesn't always happen) but just saying it'd be nice to not spend stone blocks that could be use for building when i have so much Copper etc etc or w/e. I'm just kind of going over all the bases of around how dynamic that this game make the game and how fluent things are when everything is cross-intergrated when it comes to recipes
If you wanted too as well, I believe that there is like Reskillable Reforked or w/e idk if it's for 1.19.2 but there's probably other similar ones that you might prefer but basically be able to assist in some progression type system where you need like certain "lvls" in things to be able to use higher quality tools. I don't how others may feel about this but me personally I haven't seen Iron in like 2 hours or so and i've been minning non-stop with Stone Tools so spending 4 levels of the 32 levels of XP i have to be able to use a Copper Pickaxe is like a blessing tbh ❤️ ;P (edit: I'm not saying to increase Iron Ore rates, I'm simply saying that it wouldn't really change anything by adding that system if you end up adding extra levels of beginner/intermediate tool cross-integration and will also keep non-progressed characters from having extremely high tier tools at the start of the game)
Sorry I actually have 1,536 Pieces of Copper
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I interpreted it right, you want the modpack creators to add new stuff like copper pickaxes to their modpacks, correct? If so, that's not exactly how modpacks work... Modpacks are a collection of mods created by different people than the modpack creators. A modpack creator can't just add a new item to a modpack, or modify other mods to suddenly make copper tools appear in game. Same with the Greek Fantasy Marble, if you want items from certain mods to be changed, I would suggest asking that to the actual creator of that mod, as there's nothing modpack creators can do to fix that. And the mod you suggested, Reskillable, is only for 1.12, and while there are many remakes, I haven't seen one for 1.19.2 yet.
Bro
There are tons of modpacks that do cross-integration
It's actually common practice to "stitch" together the loose ends of mods within your modpacks. Chorbsies knows what I'm talking about. Whether they choose to do it or not is up to them
The reason why Luna Pixel's modpacks are so popular is because they do some stitching up to begin with as well as creating a modpack with pristine performance for newer versions of Minecraft. I'm just suggesting that they bust out the sewing kit and keep stitching
As an example... you think RLCraft would be such a great mod if all the mods didn't cross-intergrate? 90% of the cross-integration for their mods on their end. There are several difference ways to do it and sometimes that is creating your own mod that stitches them together or finding a neutral mod that allows you to make additions that stitches them together ex.) Craft Tweaker
So this has moved from the original topic and I think Luna Pixel does a great job and i love the performance and worlds they create so please refrain from trying to explain to me what a modpack is so that it doesn't effect the appearance of myself or Luna Pixel
I'm aware of the combo, however minecraft works differently. Also, don't be rude about it, thanks.
i wasn't be rude silly
that's why i said dummy head ;P
Fabric MMC already “stitches” different mods together, as you call it. This was recently done to unify different types of silver. But you never said exactly what you want changed.
Mythic metals does add bronze and it’s literally made in the exact way you suggested. Is there some other Tin that needs to be added to the recipe or something?
This is definitely doable btw, but you should make a separate and more concise suggestion for it to see if it’s something people want
Professions has an option for it
Okay my fault i'll make a better and more refined suggestion
just fyi I just suggested that progression-lock thing and it seems people mostly hate it
