hm
first time it happened is with the updated IF?
yes
tried restarting gdlauncher, and tried launching the instance 3 times.
disabled resource packs, issue persists
A crash log would be helpful
Ok so the launcher surpressed the actual error
Yeah thats my fault. I will fix that real quick
This version should have the issue fixed
I've updated both messages accordingly
Can you send me the log again
This log doesn't contain any error/crash
I will create a new instance with the mod
Crash report: https://mclo.gs/XTDekp7
Ok I see the error now
Didn't know a crash report could be generated without the log
Its the same error. I will quickly fix that as well
This one is harder tho as it involves Colormatic modifying the same code as I do
Should be fixed
instance successfully launched
successful connection to server and spawned into the server
I could imagine.
I could easily make a mod compatible with 401 mods ๐
lol
As long as a mod only adds content or uses API its fine, but when you change minecraft internals its bound to break
game seems more snappy, though that's not quite a quantifiable measurement.
I'm using bsl shaders on ultra and multiple 256x256 resource packs
I am gonna paste a description of the changes made here:
At the moment the following HUD elements are optimized: Chat, Scoreboard, Bossbars, DebugHud, SubtitlesHud, Hotbar, Health/Food bar, PlayerlistHud, status effect overlay.
Overall FPS should be higher when the HUD is not totally empty
Tho using shaders might even put you on a GPU bottleneck
You are GPU bottlenecked. This isn't bad in your case because you reach high FPS even with that, but that just means you CPU could upload more frame data to the GPU than it can render. And with ImmediatelyFast being mostly a mod that frees CPU time wasted by bad rendering code it won't have a big difference on your system
ah
I don't know if the version of ImmediatelyFast which is included by default in the modpack had this already, but map rendering is significantly faster now
This is mostly relevant on minigames servers tho because they use map billboards to show images
"Making the same more snappy" was the overall goal with the HUD changes anyway. As long as everything in the modpack still works thats a win
Feeling smoother and like 20 extra fps at times, like, with v1.0.5 my max fps was around 200 and now is between 215~225
