Don't see much of a difference, fps feel more stable tho
like 1200 entities between mobs and items, but fps are steady at around 30 fps

Update regarding performance/stability: I used to crash quite commonly when I was exploring with elytra and suddenly big clump of structures appear. Few seconds before crash I usually experienced stuttering and then minecraft would stop responding. Now I experienced same kind of stuttering when I was flying with lots of speed but after few hiccups it loaded everything and game didnt crash.

You can keep an eye on the BufferPool usage in the F3 screen (bottom right if not other mod modified the layout). If it goes full/overflows the game crashes. I can increase it in that case
