I need a hint: There's a hopper, which pointed in the composter beneath, but won't compost the cactus from my farm above. Where is the fault?

That's the point: I am not sure, if it is possible in Better MC 1.19.2 - in Vanilla it is.

Replaced both blocks - Hopper an Composter several times in different orders

The hopper can output the bonemeal from the composter.

seeds/sugarcane

put them in the hopper

I found a thread on GitHub with another problem with hoppers. Now i will "report" my issue

As supposed and proved by the Mod-Author:

This is not issue at all, this is a regular feature from canary for more information press here.
you can disable this feature by adding

mixin.block.hopper=false

in canary.properties.
