I got the Too Expensive when I made a book with all the enchants for boots(Feather Fall, Prot, Thorn, Unbr, Mend, Sneak, Depth Str, I might be forgetting one) and then tried to apply the book to the boots.
I managed to aplly the enchants using the old method of Boots + Book then Book + Book, then add that to Boots.. etc
But that is to say, I think it's still possible to get Too Expensive

And when it says too expensive, you can't click it anyway, the end result on the combination just disappears from the clickable GUI

There aren't that many enchants in this modpack, so the old method should be good enough though, just thought I'd mention that.

I got like 5 of them. I think it depends which dungeons you're going for, if I'm not mistaken I got most of them from the Ice/Cold Biome dungeons, i.e. them Frozen Skeleton towers, the Pillager outposts/ships that are in ice areas and similar. I am yet to explore anything underwater. Could just be luck though, can't say for sure.

I seem to remember hearing somewhere that potions of luck can grant better loot in unopened dungeon chests if you have the effect on before opening them. So what I'm thinking of doing is going to find an underwater ruins that I haven't explored yet, drink a luck potion, dive down, and hope one of the chests generated a Will of the Ocean.

Thanks, but we have managed to fix the issue.
Spark Profiler noticed that the cpu was waiting for the gpu to finish rendering whenever the lag Spikes came.
The Problem was a broken GPU driver, after a fresh reinstall the lags were gone.

I found a single video by the creator that only goes through the weapons (useless)
but found out a few things on my own that are not useless

The Mourning Star, Cataclysm and Annihilator are basically the same weapon just with different bases (shovel, sword and axe respectively) and the item you need to make them all can be found in ancient cities, combine with shards of malice and you get a cool new weapon with lifesteal* and conditional dmg buffs. They wil consume you're hp if you hold them for too long
You can use the shards of Malice in the socket slot to have lifesteal*. The Sigil of Eden is a better version with extra dmg, 4x honing speed, and with Wither effect on hit

*lifesteal in Tetra is a chance to get hp, higher lvl increases the chance and amount healed

time for the deep dive and to become the ONLY resource of art of forging for some reason

depending on what angle my camera is, the transparency on water and glass gets screwed up

water becomes solid, and you cant see through it anymore, on glass, at the right angles you can see the texture on both sides of the block, making it appear less transparent

Have you installed your own shader/changed the ones that come with the modpack?

If you're not using shaders, then I'd guess it's OpenGL issue and to check your drivers/java version

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

anyone know why even just birch trees being planted side by side makes Create tree farm just not work. IE: two trees side by side breaks it. Suddenly getting terrible connection on a shared world. It has been fine for over 2 weeks but now it takes 10 seconds just for an inventory screen to load

Single player works fine. Both me and host have a strong internet connection. It is just when playing on the shared world only I lag hard

As I typed that it got worse. Now, I can join my friends shared world, but after being in for a few minutes, I get disconnected. The server is still open and I can rejoin it just fine. This is making the world completely unplayable as I am either disconnecting, or cannot interact with the world in any meaningful way due to lagging and rubberbanding

Probably your saws aren't places in a favorable way.
I have a single line of casings, every so often deployer filtered for whatever sapling I want in the row I want, i.e. 1 sapl, 2 next to each other etc, saws on either side, nothing on top and at the faaar end, a gantry shaft with barrels and Storage Interface (both outside of the range where trees are).
I also just put non-plantable block for like jungle trees and dark oak, that way theyre always 2x2

Only real issue is snow, because saws can't take care of it ;D

Transferring Your World

If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".
