Use a filtered, Brass funnel facing downwards that accepts empty buckets.
Then again, this is extremely inefficient.
Use a piece of bamboo on a Wiremill to get a far more utilizable item.
Then run pipes into your blaze burners after using the straw on them.

You should also look into biofuel, or diesel/gasoline.

I cant filter diluted bonemeal through smart pipes. if theres a filter of any kind present in the pipe, it will not pass though. i have deny attribute "added by minecraft" filter to prevent water from going through and it doesnt work. i also tried the inverse with an allow "added by things and misc" filter. the only way it will go though is if i take the filter out. im sure the solution is to just not use it but i like the idea of my farms having a fluid tank and sprinkler on them instead of using rich soil

i think this only happens if youre using a multi tool like a shovel pick because having a single pick head reduces the breaking power of the material by 1 tier, however the gui only sees the material of the item and not the actual breaking power. so for example your diamond shovel pick will only have iron level mining power, with exceptions for other random things such as socketed gems or hones that might increase the breaking power up to or beyond the original materials mining level. I could be completely full of shit, but just in case im not, ive never used a multi tool

This is my attempt at automating soul steel: the deployers fill in the schematic for soul sand/powder and ignite it as the piston goes out/in, and then I need to fire the ejector with the iron ingot when it's retracted. I'm trying to do this atm with a stock minecraft observer but the signal it outputs isn't enough to gas the torch. Not to mention I need some way of firing the signal only when the piston retracts, not extends...

That was seriously satisfying to solve. Wish there was an easier way to drop exactly one item than doing pulse repeater->pulse interval->redstone torch->smart chute via redstone wifi. Also shame about screwing up the aesthetics with the IE conveyors but I just had no patience at that point. Frustrating that Spirit just spawns that ingot anywhere within the 3x3 seemingly.

whats the deal with how death works? I keep losing things after getting back my stuff from the floating amulet or whatever it is, and i either get everything dropped on the ground or it mostly goes into my inventory ad the rest drops. Shouldnt it be putting things back into my inventory as they were, so my secondary trinkets, backpacks, cosmetic armor and hotbar are all in the same place?

using a fence block for the floor and making the door only 2 blocks tall will prevent anything but players from going through. You can still get through by crouching

(you cannot create a mechanism or do specific create things between the borders of claimed chunks. - Yes, even if the block is entirely created within a chunk, but you try to manipulate/move/destroy blocks outside of said chunks)

just ensure the entirety is within a claimed chunk
and I mean everything
just because the machine is nicely built within your claimed chunk, that doesn't mean it can affect non-claimed chunks
and vice versa

Is there a way I can modify my HUD to show me if it actually will break and give me the block, or be a liar because the tier is correct but the block says "no, it's not normal minecraft or my-dimension pickaxe - you no get it"

is it possible to remove cold sweat halfway through a playthrough safely? we're not having fun with it, its just really annoying. Or, if theres a way for me to actually explore the nether without having to use the stupid lantern constantly that would be great, too. I have fully upgraded hoglin armor and I still overheat in the overworld in the summer.

finding the rings that make you immune to heat/ice helps in their respective biomes
also brewing any potion (and ensuring they last the longest) helps too

i mean we've found the ring that gives fire immunity, but i dont see anything in the book or from the cold sweat mod just for heat

Yeh, fireward ring makes ye immune
although I don't know what causes it to be buggy sometimes and allows the nausea to affect you
but if it ever does - just pull out the lantern a bit and rid the overheat for a second
to fix dat
