deciding between calorite armor and tyr armor

so its usually not a great idea to make a base then make the machine inside that base as it would take more than usual space and tends to look ugly
most people usually build a machine and then build a structure around it to make it look good

or just go make the machine in a creative world then come copy paste it in ur survival mode (i do this)

No matter how many different ways I attempt to glue a mining contraption together (5x5 mining drills structured with andesite casings with deployers for block placing and rail placing, powered by coal with furnace minecart) it for some reason isn't keeping the drills on the contraption. It's like they get completely ignored when the cart assembler generates the contraption entity.

Okay so in refined storage, to intake a lot of items from a chest, you'd place an importer on the chest. The importer would pull items from the chest and into the disk drives of the system. To increased speed, you'd just apply a speed upgrade of sorts. Toms is doing almost the exact same thing but instead of using disk drives, we have regular chests. Those chests have a flaw that they have limited number of unique slots so you build a massive bank of chests to increase raw number of unique slots.

The effect I'm seeking is to distribute items evenly across all connected inventories

It's not about even distribution per se; Its that when I place my contraption down, the items begin to funnel downwards into a chest. If that singular inventory is full, then the contraption can no longer continue to add items. What I mean specifically is that that one chest must be capable of putting its items in other inventories and for this I've been using a MASSIVE group of chests all connected by storage connectors. The one chest must be able to distribute to all of the other chests

Which there is an item in toms that does this fundemnetally called basic item hopper, but it is dreadfully slow
