I'm currently building a shield from tetra and I've got a few questions

is there a wiki for the expanded tetra stuff

welp i found one but it isn't that helpful

so if anyone knows,

1. what stats should I prioritize on a shield?
2. is the toughness stat always applied to you or only when blocking?
3. is blocking more of a parry or a hold down thing?

1. Not really sure, it feels like durability is your main go-to if your shield can block. If it's the Buckler (which gives toughness passively and doesn't block things), you should make it throwable if you'd like and do stats from there.
2. Buckler always gives toughness passively, otherwise... blocking should just absorb damage? Probably?
3. Hold down. Some shields can't "block" forever

Basins can only be heated with blaze burners, but also some form of heater added by Create: New Age. Don't recall what it is.
Also we have Crafts and Additions so if you want you can give the burners a straw instead

Tetra is a mod. To look for things from a specific mod, you need to use the "@" prefix before the mod name.

Look up "@tetra"

But because it is a modular system you're not going to see what you are looking for

You either need to learn the mod yourself or watch some videos on it because its not a simple mod

Take the holosphere with you to the tetra crafting bench. You can click one of the weird middle buttons on the bench to view "all valid materials" for a specific part. You can also place them on the ground within a 5x5 of the bench for the same bonus. I'd also recommend checking out the achievements for tetra, they'll help guide in what things to craft first and get started. If you have the mats you can power through a bit, but the hammer will be your main struggle till you find some ruins

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. I upgraded one of my chests from Copper to Iron. Iron chests, for some baffling reason, have less slots than copper chests. This forced the game to put an item in the uprgade slot that would not normally be there. Trying to remove this item from the upgrade slot crashed my game.

Also, I do hope that Sophisticated storage is configured to be better than it is. The concept that I can make a copper to iron chest upgrade, use it on a chest, and then make that chest worse and potentially glitch my items into a state that can easily generate crashes is laughable.

So here, in my little starter base, you can see that I have two Sophisticated chests. One Copper, and One Iron that was previously Copper.

This is what the UI looks like for a copper chest. It has 45 slots.

This is the UI for an Iron chest. Notice tha it has one less row of slots to work with and thus only 36 slots. Also notice that there is somehow a Tetra Sword in the uprgrade slot where it should never be.

I achieved getting it there by applying a Copper Chest to Iron Chest upgrade. Every time I try to interact with that sword specifically it crashes my game. I'm sure you can understand why. Devs, for the love of all that is good in this world, please, please fix this. This seems like a gigantic oversight.

Best case you could do to fix that is to swap Copper and Iron.

Best case scenario is just having sophisticated storage use its normal slot count configs, I.E. Iron Chests having as many slots as a double chest, Gold chests being a sort of triple chest, etc

Another idea would just be to rebalance the slot counts so that Copper is in fact the bottom tier as it should be and still maintain the progression of each material upgrade only adding a single row

But these are just my thoughts on the matter

Well they make them neutral.

Theres the gold ring that makes them passive without needing to wear gold armor

and the last one doesn't delete endermen, but it prevents endermen, iron golems, and piglins from spawning near you.

For damage you of course have the classic ones for different mob types, in this pack there is an enchantment added by Enigmatic Legacy called Slayer which damage wise is better then Sharpness.
the draw back is that between specialized mob enchantments like BoA or Smite, Its like a middle ground of sorts between those and Sharpness where Sharpness is more general damage and the mob type ones are more damage then smite but only those kind of mobs

Slayer increases your damage against monsters

I don't know what this pack considers a monster but generally most things you are fighting ARE monsters. So it might be good to have your sword or axe get slayer on it?

Quark adds ancient tomes which also raise the max level of books by one overclocking them as well.

there is an ancient tome for every Vanilla enchantment

you will end up using 30 levels of enchantments for it though in the anvil.

You can also use these overclocked books with the enchantment guide in create: Enchantment Industry and use hyper experince with them. Getting another additional level out of the book

you can go from sharpness 5 at base to then sharpness 6 with the tome and then sharpness 7 giving it to a hyper experince fed blaze burner

Place the tunnel on a belt

place another belt going in either of the sides wherever you want the output to go, main belt put the item into the filter slot and it will only grab those items from the belt the tunnel is, you can also filter the main belt as a fail safe

Place two tunnels, one on a longer belt that brings the cinder flour and deposits it to the netherrack farm, place the other one on a shorter belt that only starts at the tunnel and brings it to the blaze cake farm, then put the funnels in nearest first. This way it will only send the cinder flour to the blaze cake farm if the buffer for the netherrack farm is full

Brass tunnels have different modes, one of which is "prefer this conveyor, if full then send stuff to the next one"
