They are skills, not abilities, as far as I know you obtain it in different places/killing different mobs. for example the "sharp arrow" one is obtained by killing skeletons (2.5% chance) :(

it's an issue with the modpack, just tested same mod version in a standalone profile and the skills can be obtained :(
In the modpack configuration of the "improvable skills" mod, they are enabled, so I guess they should be obtainable

Try putting all the relevant benches, machinery, and storage needed for the Immersive Engineering machines you have in one above-ground factory building
for factories, trace out where the machine floor will go and keep a walkway throughout so its organized but still useful

i noticed that villagers get upset at stealing from regular chests instead of a vault.
is there a config that makes that happen that i just dont see?

it only points on the general direction. I had to travel between 1000 to 3000 blocks on a blimp to find the structure

Have breeder cows standing on fences then below you have conveyors running into sword deployers make sure they are 1 block above baby cows so they for the most part only kill adults
