went for wolf personally as well. That wolf howl in combination with wolf companions is pretty neat. Also spawned in the forest so it was a perfecto start. I’m not sure if it’s every night but at certain nights you’ll be buffed as well

Alright so I've been trying to do the Lan game finally, we keep encountering a hiccup. As soon as she can join the game, it immediately kicks her out. She receives the "Internal Exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset" But sometimes it's another message "Connection Lost Disconnected" etc. We've disabled Firewall, ran the mod loader as admin.

It seems to me like the game is just immediately kicking her out because of some reason, but if it weren't for that she could join? She's "Loaded in" before but then it just kicked her.

Any ideas or ways around this?

By world u mean seed, you can set it on server.properties and regenerate the world by deleting world folder. Or you could just overwrite the world folder if you already have one lying around that's in the same version and the same modpack

You download from curseforge then copy the files to a new instance on multimc

It’ll install most mods automatically and few will pop up before the installation that’ll you’ll click on manually to add into the mods folder.

or alternatively (mainly) just choose curseforge and type the modpack

if you're on a server then server render distance is what matters

in server.properties

it does seem like a shaders effect because i can still see the trees at the top of the mountain despite it being so far away

you could disable the shaders temporarily to see if thats causing it

fabric likely not that much considering how quickly it gets updated and sometimes specific mods stay eternal at a specific version and get replaced with a another mod in the newer releases: the cycle repeats infinitely

theoretically 1.16 since it’s older it would have technically more mods but 1.18.2 is more recent and currently being cared for and from what I’ve seen all the optimizations mods are— I would say 1.18.2
In terms of forge, older versions are usually better.

1. Thirst, what do I do? Natural water doesn't seem to be doing the trick because it's dirty.
2. what's the fire symbol and how does it affect us? I assume it's warmth and it changes how fast we tire or get hungry/thirsty?
3. are there any steps to survival we should start with besides basic get food, get shelter and eat?
