In order to use OptiFine, follow the steps below:
For 1.16.5 Forge: Remove Magnesium and Dynamic Lights Reforged, add OptiFine HD U G8 to the mods folder.
For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.

Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.

I am having issues with this modpack both the latest version of 1.18.1 and 1.18.2 where my the server just hungs with no forewarning. No tick delay. Just hungs and requires a kill to restart. The host I've been using is normally fine with heavier intensive modpacks so this feels a bit odd.

if you're talking about origins, the default is G
but if you want to change this you can go to your controls and search by "ability" I think
and you should get two origins keybinds, one of them is probably unbound

you could also just go directly to the mod options instead

Thing is. I don't really get crash logs. The server never really crashes. Just hungs that requires it to be killed completely. Restart never goes through.

Ok i am uploading a new version of Probably Chests that fixes the issues with mimics spawning in the void, the air, on the surface, and absolutely everywhere. the default for the mimic spawn rate modifier is now 0.95 as fixing these issues made them spawn a lot less, 0.95 makes you get 1 mimic per every like 200 mobs and going to 0.8 makes mimics incredibly rare.

Hello, i play this mod with some friends and one of the had shaders on, with nice light and water texture, but the rest of us have nothing like that, is just the normal look.
I checked the video settings and it says shaders are enabled

And another question. I changed by commands another friend's origin cause he missclicked the one he wanted with Pixie, but now he's stuck with the Pixie's levitation ability everytime he wants to use his origin ability.

I tested it and for exemple as Enderian i can still throw ender pearls, but i toggle the levitation on and off everytime i press the button. The second ability has no problem tho, only the primary and only with Pixie's

Every time i create a singleplayer world, and shut down my game, this is the screen i get next time i get on.

I tried completely reinstalling the pack, no change.
As an added "bonus" wich is the most annoying part.

Ok, I got around my issue. If you get "Could not execute entrypoint stage 'main' due to errors, provided by 'yigd'!" Delete the profile from Curseforge and re-install v10. That resolved the issue.

Hey there guys. I have a question. We recently started a new Minecraft server with Medieval Minecraft installed. Currently on Fabric. I thought there's no major difference between Forge and Fabric. However I did some research today and found out that there are some differences.
Since I couldn't find an answer on the internet, I figured I'll try my luck here. Is there any big differences between Forge and Fabric versions of the Medieval Minecraft? Which one should me and my friends use? We just started so it wouldn't be such a pain to migrate to Forge.

I made a basement full of regular chests and connected them all using Tom's Storage trims, inventory connector (on one chest), cables connected to the inventory connector up to a crafting terminal on my main floor. Cables and trims are painted to match the stone brick flooring/wall

Does anyone know of the best way to go about giving players an Orb of Origins (OoO) as a reward?
I've edited Origins so everyone starts as a Human and I've added Origins Classes, to give them "something" to choose at the start, then I'd like to reward them an OoO for defeating the Void Bloom or Ice Lich or maybe a quest item for killing 1000 skeletons.
I'd mostly like to have it as a boss drop but any suggestions would be welcome. Finally, I try to keep up to date with the latest version of MM so any thoughts on how to maintain the changes between updates or whether I just stick to the version I'm currently on until the SMP "season" finishes.

Use 3 sugar with Hide to create Prepared Hide. Then use those against a Wood Rack and give it some time to become Leather

Its not a last enchant. The selection is roughly 50+% of original enchants, depends on current enchanting seed. Its explained in apo book. You can reroll the seed by making some rando lvl1 book in table

You can restore the mod, but make sure you clear out any configs it had written before your upgrade. Let it generate new configs.

Hm witch cauldron REI only shows instant health 1. What kind of rewards are you referring to? None of the quests/REI loot tables have opal as a reward. Unless you mean the server needs to have them added to the pools

Never had this happen to me but I'll try to answer since you haven't gotten one yet. I'd start with having your friend die and respawn. Though that's an obvious one and you've probably already tried it.

Otherwise, maybe the origin orb bugged out when he swapped origins. I would spawn in a few orbs and have him try the following:

-Swap back to pixie, make sure levitation is not activated (maybe even activate it then deactivate it to be sure), then swap back to the new and intended origin. This might jog the system

you have to go into the menu, click controls, go into keybinds, and look up origins (remember to check the box that says categories) then bind them to keys that you feel comfortable with and if the listed key is red, type that in the search bar and click key checkbox. unbind or rebind all the other ones that arent the abilities and have fun.

Hey there! So I’m in a Discord Server where we host a Minecraft server. Currently me and one other person are having issues with launching the mod. So far we’ve gotten to where we can get it to up and run but when we go to get into the server it says the server is on Version 8 of the mod and we’re on Version 11. But I tested with changing it to Version 8 and when I launched it it took me back to an older version of the mod called Excalibur and won’t work. Is there any troubleshooting for this? Is it the server needing to be updated or are we downloading it wrong by some chance?

As far as I'm aware fabric tends to run better not sure if that's still true, but they also provide semi different experiences as they don't share all of the same mods since not all are available for both fabric and forge

Yea the main one I noticed is the magic mods tend to be more smoothed out before they update features, as well as the larger number of origins based mods for fabric

I've been playing this pack for a bit, and it's been very...odd? Every time I make a new world, it fails to actually load any terrain, and forces me to exit the world and load back in. Anytime I encounter a vanilla biome, it CTDs and has me repair the world. In fact, it has me repair the world every time I load up the world. Sometimes terrain just stops generating, and it's not lag. Entities stay moving, I can collect ores/blocks, chunks just stop loading/rendering randomly. I've been play testing in hopes of running a server for it, but if it's this unstable on V11, I don't think I will be able to. Any advice/tips to help stabilize it?
