you can build a campfire, craft a cauldron out of copper, with that cauldron you can craft a campfire suitable cauldron with sticks and chain, place this above campfire, with a bucket put some water in, wait a while (you cannot see if its ready, idk wait 5 minutes or something) then you can use a water bottle or a waterskin to put purified water out. clean water

you need a spell wand (idk the name atm) and the books tell you a combination with 3 "clicks", like R L L or L L L and so on to "cast" spells. no need to keep the books (or with you) they just tell some info and the combination, all you need is that staff

there are "little" multiblock structure "smelter" in medieval MC-Fabric. you have to build a 3x3 square of the controller material and some 2 high block pillars above next to the center block... best is you search for a tutorial / screenshot how it have to look, just search for the modname which you can see in inventory / on the block.

if you build it correctly, you can use it like a furnace with right click (open the menu)

the apprentice wand is what you want, after casting enough spells it levels up through the other two higher tier wands
to cast a spell, you need to have found the spell book for it before (and probably opened it), but you don't need to have the spell book for anything.

So one of the players attempted to use a bewitchment ritual but it glitched, making it so whenever the chunk is loaded the server just crashes. Is there any good way to stop this from happening and to fix the chunk error?

other than deleting the players Player Data and regenerating the chunk? deleting the player data is the easiest way to get the player out of the chunk, but it will delete everything the server has on that player (homes, inventory, player respawn point)

also when i copied the world from client to server it seemed to read the world's playerdata, but its not writing to it

There is a start.bat instead of a run.bat and even with using Ctrl-F i cannot find the "xmx" thing. It is like it has no java arguments whatsoever in the actual launch. The entire start.bat mostly just seems to be a big ol "if you dont have fabric server, install" or "if you dont have minecraft server, install" and then automating the EULA before launching I assume default arguments that aren't visible.

Toms simple storage links with chests for a single access point. Late game you can connect shulkers chests that are upgradable for a lot of storage.

I didn't see anything besides the modded shulkers that offer more than a normal chest amount

Make sure you've allocated enough ram, you can see how of your allocated ram is being used in the upper right hand corner on the f3 screen

To stay warm stay near warm object , campfire, running furnaces, ect. Heated stones are also a godo way to stay warm. If you find wolves and get pelt you can make upgraded leather that keeps you warm.

For purified water it looks like a cauldron and water bottle is your best bet.

I remember someone talking about a flask, but no idea where to get it or if that's even fresh water.

it allows you to wear any armour as long as it's enchanted with featherweight

the only other origin that featherweight works for is the "Arachnae" i believe

you should be able to get decent armour enchanted with the enchanting infuser

if you don't know how to get leather, you need 3 sugar and 1 hide to make a prepared hide
then you can use a rack from FleshZ to turn it into leather

For me I prefer using Magic Fungi Armor since the full set gives +8 hearts
Metallurgium Armor is the strongest pure defence armour

For swords, depends on what you prefer:
Impetus Sword has above 20 attack damage
But Sword of Aegis is great against undead

For magic i haven't really done much, just maxed out Arcanus
it's nice for travelling around with Dream Warp and Lunge
But bewitchment is probably decent, haven't gotten into that yet :P

so around 1000 chests

I put in word for a couple of mods that will help significantly with the tps and fps issue of using a lot of chests.

Block entities man. even after a decade they're an issue.

Fastchest or Enhanced Block Entities might be required for these kinds of instances. Plus they should lower server stress and increase client fps if the mod pack has them.

With Enhanced Block Entities being the better option since it does this for more then just chests.

I got Vampire Origin, still early to decide, but seems rough, I still have to purify water, otherwise it would be absolute win regardless of any other issue.

The thing with this is you can become a vampire through an injection instead of as an origin

What I prefer doing is become a shroomling, blazeborn or enderian
Because they take damage from water

This means they don't need to drink water

And I can become a vampire by getting strength 2 and injecting myself with vampire blood

To get rid of the water downside you can enchant a piece of armour with water protection 4

Sadly it's exclusive to all the other protection enchantments

With this setup I don't need to drink or eat at all as long as I don't take damage

Hmm I don't think there's one for the pack as a whole, but I'd look at wikis for some of the bigger mods in the pack

Also the books in game are pretty helpful too, and REI is useful for figuring out recipes.

i think the most confusing thing is the dehydration mod...i personally just change settings to make it less tedious or get rid of it outright

it's not rly intuitive what ur supposed to do to get purified water to drink...easiest option to start with that is using a campfire and placing glass bottles of water on it, since that is a thing

Hello guys one question. I downloaded Medieval Minecraft [FABRIC] - 1.18.2 and The Serverpack [FABRIC] v4 from the same site to Host a small Server for my friends. Problem is nobody can join. After we try to connect via Hamachi we get disconnected. I have a Better Minecraft server running just fine without any issues.
