K here’s what ya need to do:

1. Start a creative world because it’ll speed up the process.
2. Pick Vampire Origin
3. Either use the Vampire Dash or suck blood from a mob
4. Get a golden pickaxe because it’ll break faster
5. Break the pickaxe
   Let me know if you here the sound of the pickaxe breaking. I also believe armor will not make a sound either when it breaks.

Just switch to survival and break the pick by mining.

Me and a few friends have a private server and we have just been deleting the instance. A few times they forgot to backup their works map files which ends in frustration

Ok i crashed my server because i attacked a silverfish... so many started spawning that there were close to a couple hundred of them... and my sword has thundering...

lighting at hundreds of silverfish is apparently bad xD

All the iron blocks are silverfish... it runs about 7 blocks deep too

Anyone having difficulty with 'Better End' in this modpack? Biomes and items work normally but the anvil recipes do not. Unable to make ender dust specifically.

Advice using an teleporter to the end will cause you to teleport to desired location but everything around you turns into obsidian similar to when you first enter the end.

Also teleporting back home will spawn you in the air.

Hello, I am new to medieval Minecraft and I have made server several times and every time there is some problem, first when I tried logging in, it showed a message, something like 'You need to install Origins mods 0.5.0 to play on this server' and it was already in the mods folder of the server so I deleted it because I didn't really wanted to play Origins, but after that when I tried joining it said 'Disconnected from server' each time. Also then I reinstalled the whole server and the mods, again deleted Origins and now it gives me 'Internal Exception ........ Unknown recipe serializer betterend infusion'

i have discovered a bug with servers but i dont know what caused it

i restarted a server im hosting and all of a sudden the roof of my house, my chests and my enchanting table 1 floor below disappeared

ok i figured what they had in common with each other

they were all modded items that disappeared..... all my mod items are gone except for vanilla items

That would only happen if the server loads up without the mods, especially so if it's all the mod items

i realised i accidentally opened the non-modded java server file, probably resulting in my house which was near the spawn area loading in with no mods, resulting in all the modded items disappearing

thankfully the rest of the players houses are located slightly further away so they didnt lose their itemsa

Do you have a world backup that you can roll back to?

If not, then I'd suggest making one every time you get off the server, you don't need to keep them every single time, you can get rid of the old ones, but perhaps 1 at the least would be decent. Helps to be prepared for incidents like that.

problem on the most hoster is that you become an vServer. vServer isnt so good for Minecraft so perfectly you use an RootServer (mchost) than you need not so much ram if you have enough processor performance

How do you drink water in this mod?

So you first need a campfire, then craft a campfire cauldron (need copper for that)

Afterwards you place the cauldron by right clicking on the campfire and place it, and then you can empty water buckets inside it and after 5 seconds or so pick up purified water

You can use a glass bottle, but the best option is to craft the flasks and upgrade them (search for "flask" on the inventory menu)

I'm trying to create a fabric server that requires renaming one of the .jars to custom.jar. I've tried renaming both and ended up having to rename the server.jar to custom-java17.jar. The server still crashed until I found out that the fabric-server-properties.properties had a call to the server.jar so i changed it. The server runs now, but I'm getting the "incomplete set of tags received from server minecraft" error and I can't join. Anybody have this issue?

Np! Worst case scenario you can just drink from any source of water by Shift + Right Click at any block under water, but it will give you a "thirsty" debuff since the water isn't purified, but you always should end up with a little more than half your bar filled so it's more than enough to keep going

You can either slay deer, bears and llamas for direct leather drops, or take those hides, craft Prepared Hide with sugar, craft wooden racks (or wood racks, can't remember now) place those racks on any wall and right click with the hides on your hand to leave them hanging. After a few days or so they should turn into leather

The way you craft prepared hide is something like
Hide | Sugar | Sugar
Sugar | Nothing | Nothing

To which btw, has anyone even seen a polar bear in their worlds? Been travelling for days thru snowy biomes and no sign of it

Getting really bad frame drops suddenly.

I got 3080 ti and using complementary shaders.

I have 6gb ram allocated to game.

It wasn't dropping before idk what happened.

Keeps going from 60fps to 30fps.

Hmm, no idea really on that then as that was what caused drops for me, otherwise I was 100+ fps with the same on this pack in the previous verisons. 2060S on my rig

Only thing I can suggest is tweak the video settings options, and then worst case edit the shader's options in optifine, then drag that edited version to this pack.

Shaders atm do not have a configurable menu on fabric unless Iris has added it in within the past 2 weeks.

Good news is, patreon got a shaders settings beta release, so public stable release may be soon

ONly way to configure shaders settings wise, is to go into the shader with Optifine adjust it there and export it as a save.

Thanks for the info, it's been super helpful, but I can't figure out which setting in controls would stop shift + right click from working? Maybe it's because I'm on a Mac, though I'm using a standard US keyboard, not a mac keyboard.
So I'm not able to drink the ocean water and keep myself hydrated. lol

Thank you. I have the cauldron built and cooking. However finding the sugar needed to get prepared hide has been a challenge. So I've been growing the small amount of sugar cane I have in the area so I can get that flask. lol
It's been fun and challenging so far.

If you got 12gb+ of total ram, 1.16.5 forge has the most content. Recommended ram is 8gb for smooth playing.

If you collect it with a glass bottle or flask it should say in blue "Purified Water" or "Dirty Water" or some other two options, the first one is the one you are looking for, on a general basis wait some 5 seconds before collecting the water from the cauldron

Forgot to mention it says it in blue color when you hover over said flask or glass bottle

Which btw I just discovered how this Rat's Mischief mod works and I'm having a blast 😆 just stock up on carrots and build a huge army of rat companions
