Most games have an internal server. Including base minecraft because of the system it's running off of. But especially for modpacks since most run off of forge or fabric which are api's for the code and because of certain mods and the accumulation it requires a internal server for it to run and process the data being put through as you play and move around properly

The entire modpack is a bug itself lmao.
Game breaking bugs,idiotic nerfs , arrogant fucking owner that cannot take criticism, constant lag that makes impossible and I say **IMPOSSIBLE **to even PVE let alone PVP.
The Minecarts that just fly away , mobs that make xp farms impossible, no support for making exp, even pigmen farm are super high maintenance because of the small boss mobs that break minecarts and structures around.
Useless fucking mods like dehydration like wtf WHO CARES ABOUT DRINKING WATER BRUH. You want to update? Always delete that mod.
Long ass winters that make your gameplay fucking annoying cause of cold damage.
Creeper mod that literally surprise attack you just to fucking mess with your nerves and builds. And the moderators won't tell you which it is LMAO
Annoying ass villagers that just spam you with "THANK YOU FOR SAVING US" actually ear rape. I legit disabled the friendly mobs sound cause of that shit.
End Crystal Fragment that actually DOES NOT SPAWN in either BASALT DELTAS(as it shows in the wiki) or Bastions . And I've been saying this for WEEKS
And the thing "Better End" is actually a good mod. But right now unplayable due to this bug unless you use creative.

And the only actually mods that are worth to play are "Conjuring","Dark Enchanting", "Inmis" and maybe the "MC Dungeons"

Finally, i find the convo about my mod that no one even thought of pinging me about until i got a random PR workaround instead of finding the actual broken mod.

Anyway, the issue is a mod screwed up their delta feature placing and is trying to place blocks outside the 3x3 safe chunk area. Please put on Blame and get the crash to happen again

Then give me the latest.log file (not crashlog. Latest.log). Blame will print out which configuredfeature crashed and what biome which should help us know who to poke to make their configuredfeature only generate within the 3x3 chunk area properly.

currently having an issue with a conflict between the mod that allows you to pick up an item with sneak+right click+ empty hand and the conjuring mod. activating the gem tinkering station needs the same action. so you end up just picking it up with the materials inside rather than crafting. is the pick up mod configurable to black list the gem station? what is the pick up mod that is in use? neither have a configurable key bind option.

No, Forge has more content/mods at the cost of higher ram requirements and performance, while Fabric has less content/mods needing less ram allocated and some better performance. Also the mods are not entirely the same, fabric has different mods available compared to forge.

I am having the same issue with my family. We have narrowed it down to when they pick up any item. We have been trouble shooting to see what the root cause is but I haven't been able to figure it out 100% if anyone has any ideas we will be more then happy to test them out.

With more testing we have noticed that if my wife right clicks to pick up the blocks she doesn't get kicked off but if she walks over them to auto pick up the game kicks her.

@idle delta I ended up just throwing my world on a server and hosting it. Everyone was able to join and work like normal. It has something to do with the way items are picked up on Lan.

Or you could find the info on the mod page for the "Origins" mod on curseforge. Medieval MC also includes Mob Origins and some other additional ones though, so you'd have to find them as well

I've always used the Light Overlay feature of the MiniHud (client side) mod, but you'd have to add it yourself (along with Malilib) since it isn't included in the pack.
It looks like the "Toggle Light Overlay" in the controls menu is part of Xaero Minimap mod, it may only affect the map in some way- I'm not too sure as I haven't used this mod much myself

i can recommend some changes to make it less annoying

i tweaked mine to be less draining and make more use of the croptopia drinks, so you could use those instead of messing around with water skins and purifying nonsense

you'll get thirsty less often, and drinking a coffee or juice or whatever from croptopia will fill the same amount of thirst as a water bottle plus whatever hunger saturation it has

#

it comes in surprisingly handy when you're fighting because you can suck down something like a pumpkin spice latte that gives you a ton of hunger saturation

You can crouch and right click on a water source block, or make some water bottles and cook them on a campfire, craft croptopia "hydrating foods" (aka drinks like juice or tea etc) or make a water skin and fill it with purified water from a campfire cauldron

For this modpack specifically, I'd say that you should look for 2 things when starting to help you progress:

Village (if you know how to exploit them)

And wolfs or polar bears. You have 84 minecraft days until winter hits and you will want their pelts.

Otherwise, you'll be stuck with heating stones and camp fires for 28 minecraft days.

#

Also, don't kill passive/neutral mobs on sight. You'll want to breed them unless you want a shortage of that animal in your area.

I would refrain from redistributing it without permission from the author, it's not your work and it's probably not authorized even if you mention it is their work. Since I'm assuming the mod was closed source first.

The last time my issue was addressed in this channel, was two months ago. I'm getting the "Failed to get mod loader from manifest!" error when downloading v23 via CurseForge. it doesn't show what mod it error'd on; and overwolf logs are a nightmare to go through.

Edit: After being redirected to the CurseForge discord by Sharkie, I was told by CurseForge to restart the CurseForge application. After doing so, the mod manifest was successful, and the modpack downloaded.

Hello, I have a problem with the ping. When playing on a friend's local server, if he goes far away, my ping rises to 900. Especially noticeable when someone does tp. Is there a solution to this problem, such as removing a particular mod, such as "Highlighter"

Who knows how to turn off the forced third-person flight when playing as the Icarae origin?
It makes it really difficult to hit things while flying (which is an origin related bonus so it's really annoying)

Idk if this has been discovered by others but i have found a bug/ balancing issue with magic missiles. Essentially the damage and damage boosts scale with size, one of my servers players is a full Dex based Ogre (25 dex i believe) is dealing around 60 damage with one magic missiles. Where as myself a dwarf deals 17 damage despite having 23 Dex a supposed 0.5 damage difference. So i did some tests and it seems for every +1 Dex (or 0.25 ranged damage) the ogre will deal +2 magic missile damage, for humans +1, for dwarfs i didn't check but i know its very low compared to the latter.

You literally can just drop in extra-origins, and medieval will accept it. (Extra-Origins will only ever be for Fabric. As per the add-on modder's desires.)

there are two flours - one is 'bag of flour' from rpg mod, the other one is 'flour' from croptopia. i'm working on a kube.js script to merge the recipes, ping me if there's any more stuff like that in this pack, i will release the script here

Fabric is more responsive than forge for some, and it's updated faster than forge. To be honest, it also doesn't feel as invasive from a purely non-modder perspective.

Nah, I've almost never installed optifine with forge because I don't like doing it. Most large modpacks run into foamfix taking a while to deduplicate after forge stitching.

So, kind of. It has basically the same data pack and theme. I'm using Extra Origins as an Inchling there. Since Extra Origins can just be dropped back into the Fabric version, and it will just work like it used to. If you do start as that origin though, I'd really recommend sticking to Easy for a while until you get the hang of it. if you've played WoW, by the way, you'll get an advancement pop-up at the middle top of the screen that will shine, when you make an advancement.

One of the best things about inchling is that you can climb up blocks at will, and can go through leaves. But the biggest downside is that it starts with only 5 hearts, lol.

It doesn't look like Fabric keeps a version history on their own wiki, and only posts a blog post about major version updates (IE: 0.11, 0.12) but nothing between. So I can't tell you. You should always use the loader version the modpack comes with until the next modpack update anyway; or else parts of the modpack may break.
