I accidentally pearled into a lava pool behind my house then I pearled back onto my house but apparently being on fire catches surrounding blocks on fire so now there's a small chunk of my house missing ._. oh and then I died in a pool of water because that harms me too

I believe the actual issue with the back slot mod is that the item in your backslot (one of them can't remember if it's the tooleblt or the back) gets deleted when you die, it doesn't drop. I've tested it over 5 deaths. I woudl say that'sa good reason to delete that one tbh

so I've been chopping the same tree at the edge of this dark wood forest for like 10 minutes and was wondering how it wasn't already down yet

turns out it was treating trees nowhere near it as part of the same tree. The logs would teleport to my position but the saplings and carnage remained

I don't have lumberjack class so I don't know if this would happen but maybe the entire forest would get wiped if you did it with that

or more likely your pc would just explode

Hey So I got recommended to install sodium and delete DashLoader and Update Illumniations to 1.6. But when I did all of that. Now when I try to join my singleplayer world It loads normally with liek the percent showing and stuff but then I get a Error of "Invalid player data". And even stranger is that the only button to get out gets me to the multiplayer server list tab..

well if you have trees that connect to the other one it will take a while and break all of the ones that are next to it. I made like a small tree farm like that. Planted a lot of trees right next to each other in a line and then when all of them grew I just hacked at one piece of wood and took down the whole row

Anyone know how to fix this issue with lava generation in the nether? Google has told me nothing. Lava just sits in these large areas not flowing until you place a block near it.

Alright last message as I found the issue, the datapack Incendium was causing generation issues in the nether. It took awhile to find due to the fact the datapack is not listed anywhere on the modpacks page or online and has no sign of being present in game. Removing the pack from the 'paxi' folder fixed it. Also just to let ya'll know, the biome locater mod is super broken. Crashed my game on use which is something I noticed while doing tests. Hopefully these issues get fixed soon!

Yeah Incendium is the only datapack/mod to change the nether but I don't think it's Incendium due to it being in the fabric pack and not causing the same issue but it's probs a mod causing it to happen to Incendium. Thanks for the heads up of biome locator

@ivory kernel I am talking about the fabric pack, also better nether is included in the fabric pack and those biomes were fine, it was just the ones added my Incandium that had issues with generation. I agree it’s probably some sort of mod conflicting with the generation of the Nether, but once again it only effects Incendium biomes so for me it was worth it to just remove the data pack.

hey guys! I'm trying to set up a private server and the server keeps crashing on startup.
I unzipped the server pack on the server then used java -jar fabric-installer-0.7.4.jar server -downloadMinecraft to install fabric and the minecraft server

This pack is very good for having a good feeling of the new update of Minecraft! There are no quest Atm but the mods are very good and not overloaded that you can have clear goals (f.e..: Armor or Dimension) I like it a lot because it's not so much of a cluster of mods and have a clear line where this pack is directed!

ah, what I did was I created a seperate folder in 'documents' and i named it 'AAA- mc mods' (the AAA is so it comes first in the folder). Cut and paste all your mods into there. so that you have none in your '.minecraft' folder

and transfer them 1 by one. i know its a pain but then you can see which one works and which one doesnt

I'm noticing that versions 5 and 5.5 of Medieval Minecraft were for version 1.17.1, but versions 6 and 7 rolled back to 1.17, but I don't see a reason given for that. My friends and I were trying to add Immersive Portals to our server, but it seems to cause some issues and the most recent version(which would hopefully fix the issues) require minecraft 1.17. Are there plans to move back to 1.17.1?

Hey folks! Doing a hardcore mothman run (fifth try so far), but there's something I'm unclear on. It looks like we can go below y=1 now, but the void fog is so thick I can't see anything anyways. I'm not having any luck with Google in figuring out what this void fog even is exactly, nor some way to navigate in that impenetrable darkness where even my moth eyes are unable to deal with it. I have solved the Void Fog problem. It is being generated by the Tea v1.5.3 Shader Pack included in v8 of the modpack. Switch to different shaders or don't use them at all to remove the void fog. I presume there's a way to customize Tea so that it doesn't do that, but I don't know the first thing about shaders so I won't be doing that.

Yeah tea shaders don't work below y0 . Tried editing the shader and couldn't get it to work. Hopefully the dev can update it to resolve the issue soon.

i. End Cities will contain Cores of Flight. Buried Treasures, Simple Dungeons, Woodland Mansions and Abandoned Mineshafts will contain Broken Cores of Flight, which you can fix with slimeball and diamond.
ii. Wings can be crafted with various materials (some being mob drops added by the mod, for example), and once equiped, will stay in your player even after deaths with keepInventory off!
iii. You can remove your wings by making a ceremonial knife and dipping it in a flask of Dragon Breath. Be careful, though. It will hurt.

Hello ! Just want to know if anyone else has run into the "Invalid Player data" issue when trying to load the the save again after exiting ? I play in solo for now but can't reload my game. Saw online that it may be caused by a combination of mods like (Origins + Iris Shaders) or something but it seems to work fine for other players

Perfectly fine for me in multiplayer though.
