be careful with that one, a lot of found loot cannot be reforged, dungeon difficulty mod. Scales up loot in dimensions and such and their improved stats take priority over anything else so they can't be reforged for further stats.

those tieredz stats don't reflect on playerex, but you still get them

the luck won't be luckiness from playerex, just the vanilla luck that affects loot. You'll still get the crit chance, it will just act as a separate trigger should your playerex one not trigger

theoretically yeah, however, 100% crit damage from reforging is impossible as it doesn't go that high. I believe unique can get to 30% crit damage. Playerex of course can get way higher thanks to relics from relicex.

that's an actual thing, dungeon difficulty has its own stats based on exploration, the weapons are better than what you can craft typically when you find them, you cannot reforge those as they take priority, but they also have better stats than reforging and don't have to worry about bad stats like common, uncommon, etc

The only reason to really craft armor right now is because you currently cannot affix relics to dungeon difficulty affected armors, although the relicex mod dev knows about it so it could be fixed in the future

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

For this error in general. It sounds like it cant find the resources location and it is probably because the path isn't properly escaped. You could try manually creating it and rerunning the installer or try changing the name of the location to not have as many special characters as they might be interpreted as regex

I think the Twilight Forest may be a bit bugged.

First spawn in and every hostile mob is over 100 hp, with tonnes of armor to match. They don't do much damage, but they eat through durability.

Killing the Naga took an hour and 4 full durability iron swords (good quality with sharpness, and I have an immortal relic boosting durability...), and had to leave to repair my armor multiple times (thank goodness it doesn't regen).

I understand things scale the further you are away from spawn, but this seems very excessive. I cannot see any realistic way to deal with this kinda tankiness even with multiple relics and levels unless I am missing something?

Watched a few youtubers play through, and they most definitely do not have this happening.

Level 22 at the moment playing as a Goblin for the speed and damage. Got 10 points in strength, the rest are constitution and luck.

Considered trying to level and put more into strength but levelling takes forever at this point.

I didn't really "struggle" with it, it just was a massive sponge. A shield makes it easy to take down.

Thing is even the best weapons I can see in REI currently give a very minimal increase to damage from what I am already doing so I am struggling to see how exactly I am supposed to deal with it.

If I try and invest into expensive gear it will just get weathered down to no durability in no time.

For example I do about 15 points of damage with a basic iron sword on the training dummy. These skeletons with 100+hp however were taking ~4 damage each hit. Even if I get a sword with double the damage of the iron sword (which I could not find anything nearly that high), it's still a very small increase to the final damage dealt from what I can see.

I can tank them forever since I have good armor and speed, but then again they can tank me as well - and they don't have durability to worry about.

hey there, i couldnt find a faq about this and sorry if there already is but how do you reforge gear without making the gear over and over again?

I feel like there are a lot of things unexplained now that I am going through the build guides.

1. Ranged damage seems to be unreliable when I tested. EG: An low level archer I had earlier when testing on a training dummy would do anywhere from 0 damage to 40 damage (non-crit) with a crossbow. Not sure why the damage has such variation, when melee does not. Also not sure why it so often just doesn't register the hit.

2. Villages can be created? How? There are a lot of mods and I am unfamiliar with so many of them. Quest book only touches on the essentials.

3. When testing the "Mage" origin it seems to halve all damage - including the damage dealt by the wands' right-click ability. Is that intentional? is there anything that the mage origin works well with?

There is a second tab in an Anvil that lets you "reroll" the quality of equipment - aka "reforging".

You will need an amethyst shard, and the base material the item is made out of to reforge.

It is mentioned briefly in the tutorial quest but can be easy to miss.

there's an origin tier list, mods are not made with other mods in mind, as such, mage does not take into consideration other mods like wizards and spellblades, especially since those mods were created long after that rpgorigins were created, all origins can cast the main combat magic

Yeah the way it was worded a "Sky Village or Underground village" made me think it was a modded thing.

Creating a village the old fashioned way takes a lot of time.

it doesn't take too much time tbh, the payoff is huge

and you can work on it a bit at a time, you don't have to do the whole thing at once

so say you need to prioritize enchants right? So what you do is only roll for mending, unbreaking III, life-mending III for when you get a lifesteal relic, and then prot IV so you don't die

why does magic seem so overpowered compared to regular swords/bows? Nether/end mobs seem to have armor in the range of 40-60 points, but using magic simply melts them since it bypasses armor. is this intended or will there be balances to magic in the future?

not to mention that some magic spells can hit mobs multiple times and what takes me (a physical damage attacker) several seconds to kill can be insta-wiped by my friends which are using magic. some of them feel this to be pretty unfulfilling on their end too 😦

Guys, would you recommend any hosting which let using java 18?
Server on a pebblehost with 16gb ram and online up to 20 handles 20tps but sometime have a huge memory usage spikes and just shutting down without errors. bisect said they uses only java 17, not sure if it will be better for a big server than current one
