Well at least it looks kind pretty.
They also have increased damage and move speed, but it’s tricky to balance, and the power scaling is nuts to the point where if you don’t buff armor people just one shot everything

I see yeah, the thing is that’s a pretty early-mid game weapon still, there are better damage enchants than sharpness and weapon damage goes much much higher than 14
I might try buffing damage more and lowering defense a bit, but the problem is that mobs then also deal more durability damage to armor
maybe, still learning the mod to be honest 🙂 just upgrading to seashelf for enchanting 🙂 and I am by far not efficient (i.e. no idea even what weapon i can upgrade too 😄
a lot of people really hate that
mostly it’ll be looted weapons, and for damage enchants void strike or enigma resonator, also crit damage relics+points in luckiness are very very strong

Yeah unfortunately if it’s looted armor that already has loot bonuses like dropped experience or step height or luck etc, it can’t have relics attached
that’s being looked at by the relicex dev at the moment
So other than the core spell enchantments in the guide what else do you want on your claymore, I'm guessing Sweeping Edge and Looting
Enigma resonator is probably very good on spellblade claymores

nether chests will have some decent weapons, twilight forest gear might be slightly better than minecells if the nether is too hard
but honestly I think the biggest difference would be getting a better damage enchant on your blood sword

the mechanics are pretty well fleshed out imo and if you don't over-prepare they can be a good challenge
Marium's bosses look cooler to me than other mod bosses I've faced tbh 🤷♂️ with the only other equal being Ignis from L_ender's Cataclysm mod.
They might be a bit over the top but the draconic evolution dragon is pretty cool

I think something is up with with the heating and cooling, Since the new version Cooling and Warming Potions seem to do nothing
I overheated almost immedietely in the Nether even with one active
and I was freezing earlier in full armor with a warming potion
wearing full armor is causing players to freeze for some reason, there was a thing that was removed that shouldn't have been from what I understand. For the armor, take armor off, you can go to a place where you get to neutral temperature, put armor back on and I think that helps at least reset the armor.
I'm assuming the charms need to be added into reworked temperature if I were to take a guess
I will say though, I never used charms as they were never as effective as the ice pack method I use (see pins for that). And for cold, all I ever had to do was make sure my skin didn't touch the cold, to always be wearing armor and make sure it never breaks and that I don't die in the cold (no risk-taking in the cold).

There's nothing in Archon that is Arcane so I don't see why Arcane would affect it
WizardEx is also not integrated with Archon most likely so Fire Spell Power for example I do not see it affecting anything.

My game is randomly crashing. No idea why. No one else on the server is crashing. I have only create, mermod, and chisel and bits on server added. Steps to reproduces are usually just moving around or alt tabbing.
it's also 20 but missing several fields related to biome temp, i'm guessing those were changed and those have to be done via datapack
as well as cold/heat protection amounts

1. Have you modified the modpack in any way? If so, what did you do? (Updating/adding/removing mods, changing configs)
2. What launcher, or program, are you using to launch the game? (CurseForge, ATLauncher, etc)
3. What Minecraft version are you playing? (1.18.2, 1.16.5, 1.19.2)
4. What version of the modpack are you playing? (v11, v9, etc)
5. What steps are necessary to reproduce the crash? (Launching the game, exploring the world, etc)
6. Have you ever gotten past the point where the crash happens?
7. Send the crash report file into this channel. Right click the modpack, Open Folder, and navigate to the Crash Reports folder. Drag the newest one here. If there is no crash reports folder, do the same thing with the latest.log file in the logs folder.
8. Did you follow the Performance guide linked in #faq?

- Download an adoptium release for Java (recommended but not required):

- Consider installing the JRE instead of the JDK for a smaller file size

When installing through adoptium, make sure that Add to PATH and Set JAVA_HOME variable are both set to be installed (please see https://imgur.com/a/jPu1h7h for how that would look)

Check if java has been correctly installed by running java --version (or java -version on older versions), and seeing if the output is correct (see https://imgur.com/a/OWcoq4p for an example of the output)
- NOTE: 64 bit versions of java ALWAYS have '64-bit Server VM' in the version output. If that is not there, you have installed a 32-BIT version!! If you're getting Out of Memory errors or any other errors, PLEASE install 64-bit
- If the output isn't as intended, you have 2 options.
i) Delete ALL other java versions from your PC (ONLY recommended if you don't need them)
ii) Redirect your launcher/server to use your new installation of Java

- Uninstall any other java program listed in your programs list (differs by OS, please find a guide for your own OS if you don't know)
- Attempt to re-use the command mentioned above (if the output is now correct, which it should be, you are ready to go)
Method ii
- For a server, please modify the $Java/JAVA variable (found in your startup script depending on ps1/sh) to the path of your java installation. For windows, this path is usually found in "Program Files/Eclipse Adoptium/version_of_java/bin"
- For a client, depending on whether you use CurseForge, GD, or AT, the process is slightly different. Please see a guide for each respective launcher on how to change the java version.

Prot VIII is from Mushroom Mines. But you will be good with Prot IV on all gear for minecells

Yes, I grabbed a couple origin mods, and the daemon one wasn't working right for me
use sword of freyr with rapier and you won't have to enchant sword of freyr except for mending/life-mending III and unbreaking. Transfer enchants to blood swords from minecells when you get them.

it's worth mentioning that I don't think I made the thirst immunity apply instantly, so you may have to wait a few seconds for it to apply once you switch origins

I like waystoning to the villagers because it is far easier to transport myself, than it is the villagers. Then just use block of emerald to lead them where I need them to go.

Ok. So we and my friends have been playing this for about a day or two and we just got to the nether.
I have a weapon that deals +23.5 damage but mobs have 110 HP and 54 Armor and that has made it very hard to progress, even after changing the difficulty to Normal
Is there a progress system we are missing or is it just the difficulty has been scaled up so much that even that isn't enough?

Yes, keep in mind that it is end-game and that it is useful only when you no longer have a need for xp levels. I find having 500+ xp levels ideal.
For early and mid-game, Shockwave is available for single-target (bosses) and Thundering and Echo are for AoE (choose one)

@pulsar falcon i found a bug that affects fps pretty badly
when im holding that broomstick thing my fps dips so badly and i run average 60-90 fps but i hold any other item and it stays around 130-140
idk if it works with any other items other than the broomstick

hold a lava bucket, insulate your armor, stand near a campfire, lava block, magma block, or lit furnace
you dont have to do all of those things
standing near a warm block with full uninsulated armor is enough to veyr slowly warm up i think
campfire didn't work, but I will try these other things
it does work, it just doesn't heat you up as much as it probably should
will hopefully be fixed very soon
my freezing went up while I was standing next to the campfire 😭 maybe I just wasn't there long enough lol
