the chance to proc was reduced by half
8% chance to proc instead of 15% now. So it boils down to a choice of end-game enchants. But for early and mid game, Shockwave is ideal. For AoE setups, either Thundering (my fave) or Echo are ideal and AoE setups can definitely see more use now due to mobs being buffed.
pretty new to this mod, I found a full set of Thief gear and it says Invisibility on it, but it doesn't seem to do that. I also tried the Activate Armor keybind I found in settings but it doesn't do anything? help

The two big enchants pretty much look like this now:
Enigma Resonator III (high dps potential, grindy, end-game)
Void Strike III (gamble dps mechanic)
Enigma Res got a buff as well. I personally favor Enigma Res for endgame use, but both are viable and both can be used.
For Rogue style build with the new Primordial Dagger, Ambush can be used instead of Shockwave. But I personally downgrade RPGOrigins 1 version so that Thief isn't nerfed to the ground. If not wishing to downgrade that mod, then one can make a charm of invisibility to do that build with any origin except for Thief because of the nerf that Thief got.

magic should have no issue with armor, you just need a good build and you'll really start doing well once you get a spell crit damage relic

so , some key questions , sorry if they’re stupid :
• the person renting the gportal server we play on turned on auto updates for the modpack . So it auto updated to v20, and so did we .
• every mob now says Lvl 1 no matter how far from spawn we are . But the mobs around 1500 blocks are approximately 5 times more difficult then they were on 19.5 with the same gear equipped . I’m assuming this is a glitch ? Maybe from overlapping the update without starting a new world ?
•if the world is glitched from overlapping the update , what are the consequences of rolling it back on server side and client side ?
Increased difficulty is definitely intentional, though the overworld shouldn’t be affected too much
It’s highly noticeable I think 5x harder is about accurate
And it says level 1 instead of level 13
I wouldn’t personally put it at 5 times harder but the section changing generic overworld difficulty can definitely be lowered

so I looked at this, the dev "fixed" it so it at least loads but it's still impossible to actually get the effect...

not really recommended for XP because of chunk-based XP diminishing

1. Have you modified the modpack in any way? If so, what did you do? (Updating/adding/removing mods, changing configs)
2. What launcher, or program, are you using to launch the game? (CurseForge, ATLauncher, etc)
3. What Minecraft version are you playing? (1.18.2, 1.16.5, 1.19.2)
4. What version of the modpack are you playing? (v11, v9, etc)
5. What steps are necessary to reproduce the crash? (Launching the game, exploring the world, etc)
6. Have you ever gotten past the point where the crash happens?
7. Send the crash report file into this channel. Right click the modpack, Open Folder, and navigate to the Crash Reports folder. Drag the newest one here. If there is no crash reports folder, do the same thing with the latest.log file in the logs folder.
8. Did you follow the Performance guide linked in #faq?

They are separate mods that we aren't in charge of. They will also get updates though as the devs finish work on them.

is there a way to remove loot from the chest quick? like in relic farm, to empty chests/destroy everything in there

break the chest set the items on fire
or you can hold shift and q and drag your mouse over the items to mass drop them out of the chest

i tried daylight detector but the items dont go through it to hoppers

yeah there was a bit of a misunderstanding about compatibility between easy magic and zenith

I just would like to check is anyone else having issues with using normal MC hoppers going to Mythic Metal chests?
I currently have a hopper pointing into it but the moment it is a combined Stormyx chest, the hoppers do not feed anymore items.
I have a question. My friend have updated the modpack to the latest version 20HF. Some of the assests of the mobs are gltiched out, anvils are bugged, and trading post search function working. Any suggestions on fixing this? My friend is using Apex Hosting.
None at all or only to one half of the chest?
For the assets, remove the entity-model-features mod client side, should be fixed in next update. For anvils, break and replace them. Not sure on the trading post
I believe only one half? Basically even after combining the chest, it has the inventory space of two but the hopper recognises only the inventory chest space of one
Okay yeah the mythicmetals dev is working on that one, basically chests have to registered in a weird way to be compatible with hoppers adding items to the half of the chest they’re not connected to

In the meantime you could just have the hoppers go to a Tom’s storage system and connect all your mythicmetals chests to that system

What I like to do is:
Vanilla hopper->Tom’s hopper->inventory cable->inventory connector block->all my mythicmetals chests just placed next to the inventory connector block, they just have to be adjacent

daylight sensors dont pick up items for me :/
minecart hoppers were kinda hard to fit in there

maybe i should have it just run below daylight detectors
so what you do is
and transfer it to chests
place the hoppers you’ll have the minecarts land on first
and then wall in the 2x2 area so they can’t slide around
(you can use Tom’s hoppers as a wall to pull items out of the minecarts more quickly)
then place the minecarts above where they need to go and drop them in, one row at a time
the rows only work in one direction or they’ll bounce around, if you do it right they’ll turn 90 degrees when you break the block for them to drop
ill give it a try, that or just 1 minecart hopper driving around collecting everything
and dropping it to chests
that could work since there aren’t that many drops

what I would do is have it land on a Tom’s storage hopper pointing down
my issue is that the silverfish are kinda hard to hit too with that little open space
and then just run a cable from that to an inventory connector
but if its wider they will just go out

Is there a way to unhide the Continuity resource packs? I am told that my resource pack requires those enabled and to be loaded in a certain order (Patrix)...They first had me remove Lambda better grass and change some settings, then realized I don't have those resource packs in my list and state that they are mandatory

it’s intentional, to have better difficulty scaling match all the options for power scaling in this pack so dungeons don’t get super boring as soon as you get your first decent gear
but if you feel it’s too hard let me know for sure
also armor specifically was done more than other stats to make magic a little stronger in comparison, since it was a bit weak
but there were lots of complaints before about mobs in other dimensions, even supposedly late game ones, being pushovers

are there any larger multiblock chest in the game, IE something I can run 4 hoppers out of? or can anyone expain how to get Tom's to deliver items from one container to multiple. I just can't work it out

you try could a row of filtered inventory hopper exports to the furnaces
but that may also just go by nearest
I think if you want it spread evenly, the vanilla method of minecart hopper on a rail is the best way
