so i reset the chunks containing the pyramid and tried again. i managed to clear it by acting as quickly as possible. the thing that causes mining fatigue is a unique husk in the throne room. if you ever turn the difficulty to peaceful, resulting in the deletion of the pharoh the dungeon bugs out and the mining fatigue will never go away in that region. also the more husks spawn, the more health and armor they spawn with, this seems to be exponential.

use tnt to clear the spawners in the beginning of the dungeon, then make your way to the throne room ASAP. once the pharoh is dead you can break the spawners in the throne room. the loot is NOT worth the headache however.

one puzzle is a shooting gallery, the other is a logic puzzle, and the other one requires you to turn off all the lights using pressure plates. there is a bar of lamps for that last one. there are four spawners in the first chamber. one on the first floor in an open casket, one in the ceiling above the logic puzzle rigged as a trap should you get the answer wrong, and two on the second floor in caskets, one open one closed.

i used tnt to dispose of casket spawners, but do so with caution as the central area is rigged with tnt.

be careful in the lower levels, they are mostly an obstacle course. you will see chests, but whatever you do don't open them unless you use carry on to relocate them away from the floor, they could be trapped. aside from the parkour and the booby traps it's just a maze. also don't eat any cakes.

@grizzled rampart apologies for the ping, but I need to ask if this is intended. These dropped from a husk inside one of yung's better pyramids. A desert one. I do believe these mobs were amped up as well because mobs are supposed to be 75% stronger at 5K blocks away from spawn due to zere's config, (that combined with dungeon difficulty would be pretty nuts) but I'm not sure. You can scroll up for details but the husks had absurd amount of armor plus were around level 600 or so.

Hey there. I'm experiencing crashes every 90 minutes or so and noticed my RAM usage is steadily going up and up. at the time it crashes its around 18GB. My PC has 32GB.

  • I'm playing on version 1.19.2 and modpack update v17 with a
    completely unmodified installation via ATLauncher with 8GB Ram assigned within the launcher.
  • The crash occurs randomly after some time of playing. Mostly after i explore the world a bit.
  • If there's a crashlog then i haven't been able to find where that would be saved.
  • I've set everything up according to the performance guide. My draw distance for example is at the standard 12 chunks. I'm playing with complementary shaders enabled.

i killed the pharoh first, the presence of the pharoh doesn't seem to effect things. armor points are scaling up like before.

I will find a pyramid tomorrow and test some things as well, including different strats of tackling it because I have quite a few ideas on that already. As for what is causing the exponential spawns also resulting in certain loot being exponential, have no idea.

Find deepslate cave, mine mythic metals like adamantite and orichalcum. Diamond also is actually good still.

what tools is everyone using for mining? I was excited for the Orichalcum Hammer, but the Silk Touch only applies to the first block broken. I saw someone mention an upgraded banglum pick or the giant pick from Twilight. maybe there are magic options too?

I've wanted to create a marketplace near my spawn on my server but i run into a couple of issues, like that trading station from the Adorn mod which are supposed to work as a trading station between players can be picked up with CarryOn
Also can be broken down and claimed owner ship of by others, then take the items out, aswell as it bugs once you place it down again if the dropLockedTradingStations is set to true.

also, there is no reliabel exp farm anymore. now best method for exp per kill is killing conjunct wtith a lot of buffs to maximize exp

I personally do what i call dungeon runs in the MineCell mod the prisoner quaters
I have a waystone next to one so i can tp back with a local void at the start after i reach the boss room

it drastically reduces the chance of exp orbs spawning on first kill, because of the exp per chunk nerf we have implemented
