there is another issue with leaves

is that if you play on server and you chop a trees, some of the leaves turn into ghost block

but they actually turn into leaves pile and fall on the ground

i reported this to their github and its been 1 month

For mining, just reforging until you get +reach, also arm extender works. For combat, the only thing will be longer ranged weapons. Highest range is 3.5 which I think is mostly lances. I think some scythes are 3.25 and have higher base damage.
