you can take all the gravel that you mine up and replace it to continue to try and get flint btw

and to get rid of a stack quickly, you dig the bottom piece and quickly place a torch on the ground where you dug the gravel block so that the stack falls on the torch and breaks

Hi, I'm having a problem with the server. I set it up 2 days ago and everything was fine (it's on my laptop) until today. My wife and I made it to some sort of small fortress (not more than about 10 x 10 blocks) and we started crashing with different errors. The first one was some entity-gravity Forge error.
The second time it was different.

That's super weird. I downloaded all 3 the same day from CurseForge like I always do. Yeah, first server crash report is a mess. And before it crashed, I think it got stuck on something related to the bow and the torches, got stuck a couple of minutes and then dumped a ton of errors.
After that, I restarted it and joined myself, and had no problems playing for a while. Then, I joined with my wife, Lincourtz, and it crashed almost instantly

@normal geyser Sorry to ping you, but I wanted to answer your message. I left wondering about the mismatch on versions, and decided to redownload and reinstall Adoptium java 18 version. So I unninstalled it, reinstalled and tried logging back in with Lincourtz and voila! No crashes in 10 minutes. So, is it possible that it was somehow a faulty java installation?
I'll be sure to post here again if I encounter any problems tomorrow, but thanks a lot for the insight, I think that was the issue after all.

theres an option in the dropdown of the main menu iirc to set up a task, you have to write your own line in there (which i got from the internet) to set up a repeating command at a specified interval

if you have ftp access

so it'd be FileManager>config

and in there is an ftbbackus2.json

you can edit that for the constant backups to stop cause it's making a backup seperate frombisect's own bakc up system, the extra files it's making is in a folder in the root directory of the server file manager

when i was playing on bisect it already handled the backups like it didnt have multiple backups

check your console and see if ftb is actually backing up

np, if you can brave through it enough and get to make a hardening catalyst, you can spend 30xp and a hardening catalyst to make an unbreakable ice pack

you have to turn off their auto backup and set up a new scheduled task

but u need the right syntax for it
