I just downloaded this modpack a few moments ago and the first time I ran into some sort of error so I tried right click > repair. that also failed with some error so I deleted and reinstalled and the GDL crashed. restarting GDL then tried to run the modpack and I got a menu with some incompatible mods error

you can craft and place the snow globe. And you can craft all the different types of sleds, you just need the type of wood you want to craft a sled with.

I mean… find a hunter to get the blaze rods and upgrade to the next tier.
Here is a fun ars tip. Use your very first piece of ancient debris to make a sight ritual and toss the ancient debris in before using it. That five minutes of ore sight will get you a ton of ancient debris.
Always save one to use next time.

Makes a huge 3x3 tunnel and you don’t have to worry about destroying the ancient debris. Use a jar of voiding and set netherack to be white listed and you can basically run toward all the encounters debris you can see.
Use the extract glyph on your break spell to give it silk touch so you can grab a spawner by breaking it instantly.

Want an instant smelter that only requires source?
Basic design is a upward facing spell turret with projectile toss next to a chest. Turret is a timed turret set at four seconds. Rune on top of turret is touch, rune, pickup. Chalk tune to make permanent, chest on top of input chest to collect items. Two runes on top of pickup rune that are touch, smelt, and maxed AOE or pierce. Chalk runes to make permanent. Encase everything above pickup rune in glass or other solid block to avoid scattering items.

Also get all the runes you can. They add to your mana capacity and are super useful.
They add 15 mana each I think in this pack
Make a ring of greater discount or two if you are having trouble with mana issues. Full set of the mage armor should help a ton though.

Either of the necklaces help as well. Whichever thing you need, regen or extra mana, should decide which you make.
Life mending is usually looked down on by people I think but with the ars heal spell you can basically mend your gear at will. That doesn’t work for the two handed weapons but just make a glyph of healing and use chalk on it to make it permanent and that will work. You do need source near by for that but if you set up a vitalic source link next to your xp farm that isn’t an issue.

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

Waystones are easy to do for the start can even pick them up from villages for free but late game i now use the displacement tome from the things mod
takes some grinding to get the gleaming ore that you need to make the book and the paper and you need a fair amount of ender pearls
but it lets you set up to 8 teleport locations
good idea to have an ender pearl farm first tho

So I didn't delete anything. I went through every menu after the fact until I went into puzzle. Click on graphics settings and turned "enable shaders" off
However, just in case since I didn't really start anything I will delete and see if I run into the same issue and if the same solution fixes it

RPG Origins Knight most notably should be B tier now. Just really solid class as no downsides, you start out with a shield, and deal 10% more damage always. Probably the best beginner class now imo.
