Running trough big caves worked best for me, use nightvision so you can spot it easier. Also make sure to use Silk Touch so you get the ore so you get 2 ingots when you forge it, instead of 1.

It's not by person, pretty sure. If you're on a server, it effects everyone the same way. It's RPGDifficulty. You can adjust the settings for Distance and Time or disable either, in the config. It's also capped at 200% (3x a regular mob) by default.

Distance is set by spawn default, but you can move it to your base so everything around the base is not affected by distance at least.

There's also Eldritch mobs mod. It has a chance to spawn a mob variant that's stronger, gives more exp (comes in 3 types, elite ultra and eldritch)

Relic stuff is some of the most OP equipment in the game, if you get good ones. Just smelt them down and throw the shards on the ground for xp if you don't want them

Str can add armor. Alchemy in professions can add armor toughness. You can reach the cap of protection pretty easily as there is a cap on how much protection stats will give. You can enchant the relic chest and helm with protection enchants. There's a max Prot enchant setup that is still attainable with relics, so basically, you can concentrate fully on crit damage and crit chance when you have your setup. Can be grindy though.

And nobody can fully understand it without understanding how math works and essentially, just trying it out for themselves. Both of which could take time.

You can edit the RPGDifficulty config to cap the max at something less than 200%/3x. It seems like your base mobs are at the max from RPGDifficulty. (lvl 31 is a good indicator of it supposedly, cause math)

But, gathering the soul into a stabilized focus for conjuring so that you can put them into conjuring spawner is 💯 Hard to do though with regular goblin traders because 10% chance to get soul. With the nether ones, you can do in soul sand valley for increased chance. End goblin traders is unknown for me, I imagine the same with 10% unless soul sand valley.

This way is a grind but a form of trade-control

Get that opal infused enchant for totem of undying so that you can get cleric unkillable effect but with any class and gear

In fact just came off an AoF5 8GB private server with 4 friends and that had Twilight Forest and Create and we stayed at 20 TPS after about 5 months of play (I mention Create cuz someone said it caused lag too). In fact if I recall, Spark profiler showed that AE2 had the biggest impact on the server. Granted my friend’s setups were relatively basic, but I had a 21 chunk big factory with a massive AE2 and Create backbone.

+1 for wearing armor. And we mean all main slots have to be filled. You can't just be missing shoes.

Heating stones are a thing but kinda annoying cause they don't last long.

Just like hot areas, you might wana carry waystones on you so you can TP out and come back when you're not dying

You shouldn't have any backpack storage issues, so carrying a bunch of everything on you is not a bad idea. Like devoting a backpack to survival gear. Campfires, icepacks, heatstones, extra water, etc

And if you are losing thirst rapidly, you are probably in a hot biome

Food also helps you regen, you'll burn through it a bit but you can delay your death depending on how much food you have

Charm only allowed sorting through the default inventory and vanilla chests

IPN allowed for mythic metal chests

Supposedly travelers backpack as a sort option too but it's potentially hidden by excalibur (like the ability button)-- i have not tested this

Oh, buttons in traveler's are actually hidden by Stoneborn (confirmed by Chorb). I was incorrect on Excalibur. Thinking about it, it makes sense XD
