You have to switch to creative mode and get yourself an Orb of Origins. The only other way would be I think to edit config files to make a crafting recipe for the orb of origins

Depends on the origin. Water Protection enchant exists for Enderian but the problem with that is that it doesn't stack with regular protection enchant which is a must-have for me and you'll probably need Protection 4 or greater later on. So you could make 2 sets of armor I suppose, but that's kind of a pain.

Not sure as I'm on 1.19 fabric v4 specifically. You could probably trade villagers but with enough adventuring you can find it. Adventuring and Goblin Trading are honestly the best way to get enchants imo

Need to be in the phantom state (invisible ability). Not sure if heating protection enchant helps this or not. Phantom is very harsh in the beginning but can be very good mid and late game when you can kill stuff easily at night

If you get into the bewitchment mod, there's a ritual of nightfall that you can do to make it night again which can help. Tricky mod to get into though.

Oh, and there are ways of becoming immune to fire so that burning in the day won't affect you. Probably the easiest method of countering that con.

Take a look at key binds in the menu and go to the "origins" section to choose your keybinds

Keybinds can tell you the active abilities. G is your main ability and I think that might be the web one (not sure), I don't know the secondary off the top of my head and I don't know if venomous bite is passive or active ability. Best to check keybinds.

In your case everything looks all fine. There should be 6 resource packs in the modpack. In my case, at first it worked all fine, but second time i opened medival MC, all the 6 modpack resource packs got unselected, and i had to manually put them back in. After that it seems to stay as is.

you should stop posting in both fabric and forge if only playing forge, pretty sure medusa is not in fabric. Either way, seeing as the ice and fire mod is in the forge version then I can probably help with this. The gorgon head (medusa) is a one-time use item that will turn anything into stone. After using it, it will disappear.

It's a boost in luck. Basically, when opening chests there is a probability set on certain loot in that chest's loot table. A boost in luck is higher probability to get rarer loot. Good time for adventuring.

You need to search for a specific bookshelf, it will look empty except for a couple of books or so (reflecting how many spell books are in it). I don't think all villages have these and villages aren't best to search imo. Try searching the dungeon structures.

I did, yeah. Like Sideralis Music said, you need to find the specific bookshelf from Arcanus. But I didn't find any of them in any villages.
I did find them reliably in a specific type of single big house that spawns occasionally by itself alone, and also found them in the loot in the End Portal Stronghold

Ya I flew around in a creative world for a bit to try to find some so I could get an idea of what I was looking for in my survival server. I found some in a chest in the stronghold and so I thought I was looking for chests.

It's best to have the mob spawner in the air with the sides, bottom, and possibly top not covered. Then do the stream of water going into a drop-hole in the middle. Lever can be wherever but if not directly on spawner then it has to be connected with redstone of course.

Found them all! Found an end portal and when inserted it says "this eye is already placed". We had seen mention of a possible castle where stuff might be but we tested and can't seem to generate a cartographer that will give us a map to a castle.

Press "O" to read your class again. It will tell you the cons of playing dwarf. You need a gold helmet when in daylight.

so we're experiencing a flickering "issue" because the dwarf night vision III buff is set to last 12 seconds and constantly refreshes. however when playing on a server this buff doesn't always refresh before going below 10 seconds. and when night vision reaches 9 seconds, it starts flickering. i think this flickering is a mechanic to warn you that your night vision is about to run out, and since we're dwarves the buff won't actually run out. unfortunately, since the dwarf night vision's base duration is 12 seconds, the flickering happens quite frequently.

is there a suggestions channel or something? this would be a non-issue if the base duration of dwarven night vision was increased to say 30 seconds.

It’s my first time playing the modpack

Fae is good for getting around because flying is awesome and there's a wand and spell that can lunge you forward. Fae also has natural magic protection and that normally doesn't stack with regular protection enchant but with Fae you can have both. Also, Fae truly doesn't have any bad cons.

Enderian is great for infinite teleports and extra reach but rain is a problem as water protection enchant doesn't stack with regular protection.

Siren can be kind of weak-ish in the beginning but can become very strong mid to late game as there are things that can nullify the cons.

Icarae very good for getting around as free flight, not having a shield requires good combat skills and smart decisions in the beginning.

Blaze can be very strong but the start in the Nether can be very bad in the beginning dependent on spawn location.

Shulk can be pretty solid in the beginning but gets kind of boring imo.

In the end, it's all up to you to play whatever you want and read the classes carefully. These are only some of my opinions so far.

Finally got around to testing merling. Respiration enchant can help on land and water breathing potions can also help, best to make the 8 minute ones. So make a lot of those pots if you really want to play merling. The other items that provide natural waterbreathing don't work.

Also they wouldn't spawn in windswept gravely hills I don't think. According to the site, it looks like any biome that is a mountain biome. Hills and mountains are different in minecraft.

Just like a horse, right click with open-hand to ride it until it loves you and stops bucking you off. All the animals are tamed that way I believe. You'll want a saddle when you tame it.

i've been doing singleplayer icarae and it's been so much fun. just been flying around quickly yoinking any free loot that's in the tops of buildings. and idk if i messed up my install, or if i don't understand the negatives for icarae, but i'm wearing a full iron set and i don't notice any downsides so far. my flight speed seems just as fast as it was when i was in leather.

I think anything greater than iron will slow you down, but not by much tbh. There's not much of a con with Icarae. One of the best classes imo. It's also tied to armor points so level up str enough by itself will also slow you down but again, not by much.

No, you need to still level str because mobs will scale. Str is most important stat imo and gives the most value. You don't get slowed down enough to significantly affect gameplay. Besides, you can create the socks trinket for speed and upgrade to the "usain bolt" socks. Luck affects crit but you start getting diminishing returns as in that 2% crit and evasion starts dwindling down at a certain point. I think the most I got out of luck during testing was 63.4% crit and evasion before putting points in did nothing anymore. Armor slows down walking and sprint, but again not enough to make a significant impact so I don't consider it a con. You can create the wand from arcanus and use the lunge spell for flight speed.

I don't think skeleton horses can be tamed. Any tameable animal can be right clicked with open hand. Then you keep riding till you see hearts and it stops bucking you off. Then control with saddle.

Hi, I cannot play even on the lowest settings with the newest version 1.9. I have a GTX 1660 Ti 6GB 16GB ram, with the newest version of Java. Whenever I open the game there's a 50-50 chance of it crashing because at startup the launcher freezes first all the time. If it starts then whenever I play on a map I have lag spikes, cannot move more than a few seconds, and crash for some reason. Basically It's unplayable for me, which is a shame since I really want to play the modpack. I tried other version on curseforge, but those don't work either.

As I checked, I have all the requirements to play the modpack as far as I know.
