Last night I was watching Tango's stream from the other day, and he was on 1.19, running Sodium and discovered that having environmental particles enabled, dropped his frame rate down 50fps. Turning those off fixed the issue. So maybe that's the same for your situation? @crystal merlin

For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.
Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.

what i can guarantee is that curseforge apparently always works. But that involves overwolf and I generally wouldn’t dip my accounts to see closed-sourced software. Alternatively there’s GDLauncher (open source too) but actual success I’ve had with was PolyMC. It’s on github too. All you need to is “add instance” go to “curseforge tab” and it sets the version including mod loader automagically. You’ll only have to add a few mods separately which it displays with direct curseforge links.

i host a server on bisect and i have some render lag, this is what they answered - I would suggest checking with the pack dev as it may be an issue that is server side only, it looks something is generating a ton of entities.

When watching Hermitcraft with the 1.19 update, when one of them went out to the newly generated areas, there were thousands of sheep. I suspect it's a 1.19 issue based on that.

Depends on what you want out of it. If you want boss fights, dragons, and lots of things to explore, go with the 1.16 Forge. If you want something that is a little less dangerous, go with 1.18 Fabric.

Assuming you're using the included startup script, that's where you set it by editing the ARGS line. On Linux in start.sh the line would read like this to set it to 8GB: ARGS="-Xms8G -Xmx8G". On Windows in start.bat, the line would be SET ARGS=-Xms8G -Xmx8G.

Hey gamers, was wondering if anyone here has played a lot of Valhelsia 3? I want to know how it compares to Better Minecraft. What i did not like about Valhelsia 3 was all the automation mods like immersive engineering, mekaniks, etc that basically made Valhelsia 3 into a "google simulator". How is Better Minecraft in that aspect? Will I have to constantly google to find out how to play or is it more intuitive

heya, I've got a question. I'm not sure if this is a 1.19 issue, a fabric issue or an issue with something in the modpack doing it. but I could not find anything on this while looking things up. (I could just be missing something really obvious, I've never ran a fabric server or a 1.19 server before, I just feel like if it was an issue with either of those two things, it would be relatively simple to find the solution to it using google).
but anyways, onto my issue. Within the logs of my server all player messages are replaced with "chat.type.text" is there any way to fix this, so the actual messages are logged? All I could find while looking this up is mentions of "chat.type.text" within 1.19 snapshots. I've not found much of anything else. If I'm mistaken and this is an issue with either 1.19 or Fabric (and not the modpack), sorry about that. Thanks.

Hard to explain, but it's something you need to do when hosting a minecraft server on your computer. I assume your friends server is being hosted on a local computer, if not then ignore me

Well idk what's going on, but I play about an hour, I get some stutters in audio and while I get 60 to 100 fps the game stutters. I have used shaders and also removed them. After I exit the game, anything I do on my computer blue screens me. Once I restart my PC if I don't play bmc my computer is fine. I can play games like Control on max settings with no crashes. I don't know what's going on. I'm using ATLauncher also if that matters. Sorry for the long post, I'm grasping straws here

Ok so I didn't play an hour, only about 30 minutes. So far I haven't bsod and i've done stuff after exiting. The only difference was I was using PolyMC and not ATLauncher and I wasn't using Complim Shaders.

In order to use OptiFine, follow the steps below:
For 1.16.5 Forge: Remove Magnesium and Dynamic Lights Reforged, add OptiFine HD U G8 to the mods folder.
For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.
Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.

Download the 2.5 file
Make the server
And from the 2.0 server
Locate the world file
Copy it
Put it in the 2.5 server
But make another world backup before doing that just in case
